学情分析
通过本单元前面内容的学习后，学生们已经基本掌握复合不定代词anyne, smene, everyne, smething, anything, nthing的用法。能用过去式就假期及节日等话题进行交谈，能对假期活动的互相询问和对事物看法的表达，学生现在对谈论过去的事情应该有了一些知识储备，同时阅读能力较之七年级有所提高，所以对于阅读提取信息是有一个整体的思路的。但部分同学基础差，词汇储备少，要在扩大词汇量上下功夫，为阅读提供基础支撑。

1.能掌握本课时出现的新词汇；阅读Jane’s diaries，了解July 15th和July 16th两天的旅游经历；
2.通过表格活动来梳理日记的主要内容;
