Unit 6 E-friends

【第一课时】

【教学目标】

1．帮助学生学习Look and learn中的生词。

2．通过Listen and say的对话学习，帮助学生掌握句型Would you like to have e-friends in other countries?

3．通过Ask and answer的问答活动，帮助学生操练核心句型。

【教学重难点】

1．词汇：e-friend, country, other, hobby, would like

2．句型：Would you like to have e-friends in other countries?

3．日常用语：I'd like to know about...

【教学过程】

I . Pre-task preparations

1．请学生谈谈他们的朋友。

S1: I have a good friend. His name is ... We go to school together. We go to the table tennis club on Sunday together. I like reading. He likes reading too.

2．出示英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、印度和日本的国旗，向学生介绍这些国家的国名和一些基本情况。

T: This is the national flag of the UK. The UK is the name of the country. Now follow me, the UK.

S1: The UK.

T: The UK is in Europe. It has a long history. The people there speak English.

…

然后出示Look and learn的单词，让学生跟读。

II . While-task procedures

1.    用I'd like to…表达自己的各种愿望，同时板书I'd like to…

T: Australia is a beautiful country. I'd like to visit this country. I'd like to see the kangaroos there.

然后，请学生模仿老师用I'd like to ...表达自己的愿望。教师提问引出句型Would you like to…?和单词e-friend,同时把Would you like to...?写在黑板上。

T: We cannot go to visit these countries now. However, would you like to know more about these countries? (Write, “Would you like to …?”)

Students: Yes.

T: Would you like to have a friend in one of these countries?

Students: Yes.

T: But how? We can have an e-friend in these countries. (Write e-friend on the blackboard.)

解释e-friend的意思，并请学生跟读。

2．出示Listen and say的反馈练习，让学生先听录音，根据对话内容将人名连线配对，然后回答问题。

T: Who is Joe’s e-friend?

Students: Denis Smith.

教师谈谈自己想结交哪国的笔友，想了解些什么。

T: I'd like to have an e-friend in Australia．I'd like to know about his hobbies and places of interest in Australia．

板书hobby，用图示解释其意思，然后请学生跟读单词。请学生谈谈他们想结交哪个国家的笔友，想了解对方哪些方面的情况。

3．出示Listen and say的图片，播放录音，请学生逐句跟读，鼓励学生尽量模仿音频中人物的语音语调。

4．把学生分成若干小组，请各小组分角色表演Listen and say的对话。

III . Post-task activities

1．学生和同桌根据Ask and answer的提示对话。教师在教室里来回巡视，如果学生有需要，及时给予帮助。给学生提供表格，让他们记录信息，为后面的汇报准备。

S1: Would you like to have e-friends in other countries?

S2: Yes, I'd like to have an e-friend in Australia．

S1: What would you like to know about your e-friend?

S2: I'd like to know about his/her family and his/her favorite animals.
