1.通过阅读《爱丽丝漫游仙境》的故事,进一步巩固新学语言知识,并培养阅读技能。
2.通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技能。

Ⅰ. Pre-task preparations
1.出示一些故事书的封面,与学生一起就What is he/she doing?或What are they doing?展开讨论。
2.出示《爱丽丝梦游仙境》(Alice in Wonderland)的故事书,或展示相关图画。让学生猜一猜故事的内容。
T: What's in the picture?
What's the little girl's name?
What's she doing?
What's the name of the story?
What's a wonderland?
What's in it?
Ⅱ. While-task procedures
1.教师从学生的回答中引出课文Alice in Wonderland,然后让学生带着问题阅读课文。
(1)Where does Alice see a white rabbit? (In the garden.)
(2)What is the rabbit wearing? (A coat.)
(3)What does Alice do after she sees the rabbit? (She runs after him)
(4)What does Alice find in the hole? (A small door and a small key.)
(5)Can Alice get through the small door? Why not? (No. The door is too small.)
2.学生回答问题,同时学习生词。
T: How does Alice open the small door?
S1: She opens the door with a key.
T: Yes. K-E-Y, key. This is a key. (Show a key)
T: I think Alice can get through the door.
S2: No, she can't. The door is too small.
3.学生听录音,逐句跟读课文,并且模仿录音中的语音语调。
4.学生根据教师出示的关键词复述课文。教师可以在教室里来回走动,辅导那些需要帮助的学生。然后引导学生完成后续练习。

Ⅲ. Post-task activities
1.学生可以在小组内进行交流,找出帮助Alice通过这扇小门的方法。然后分成五人小组,表演课本剧。
2.请学生在《练习册》Task中的Stick a photo部分相应的位置按要求贴一张照片。如果没有,可以让学生画一画或直接在贴照片处写上家庭出行的日期、地点、活动内容等,然后让学生两人一组互相问答,完成Ask and complete。接着,请学生参照填入的信息在四人小组中介绍。
S: It's ... (date). It's ... (time). (Si's name)'s family has an outing. They're… (doing).
最后,作为回家作业,请学生完成Think and write.
