I. Pre-task preparations
1.让学生介绍一下自己的爱好和喜欢的科目。教师先作示范。
T: I like drawing. I like Art. What subjects do you like?
Ss: I like Chinese. I like reading books.
2.把全班学生分成两大组,快速出示Look and learn的单词卡片,依次随意指两组中的任一学生,被点到的学生站起来迅速读该单词,并说说这是否是自己最喜欢的科目。朗读和表达各得一分。若干个回合后,哪个小组得分高就获胜。

II. While-task procedures
1.根据Listen and say的内容,在黑板上板书如下内容:

2.出示Listen and say的图片,请学生听录音,然后回答问题,把表格填写完整。
T: What lessons do Peter, Joe and Alice have in the morning? What do they have in the afternoon? What subjects does Peter like? What about Alice and Joe?
3.播放Listen and say的录音,请学生逐句跟读,尽量模仿录音中的语音语调。板书核心句型 What lessons do we have today? We have ...让学生跟读数遍,然后出示挂图,指着挂图上的课程表,让个别学生进行问答。
S1: What lessons do we have today?
S2.We have Chinese, Math, Music and Art in the morning.
4.请学生自由组合成三人小组,分别扮演Peter, Joe和Alice朗读对话。教师在教室内巡视,如果学生有需要及时给予帮助。
5.请学生看着自己的课程表,和同桌仿照课文对话互相问答。
S1: What lessons do we have today?

III. Post-task activities
1.在黑板上依次出示每一天的课程表,请同桌一起进行问答练习。
S1: What lessons do we have today?
S2: We have Chinese, Math, PE and Music in the morning. We have Art, English and Science in the afternoon.

2.把学生分成四人一组,小组成员根据Do a survey栏目的提示,在小组内调查每位成员喜欢的科目并把人数记录下来。

请各小组派代表到教室前面向全班汇报调查结果。然后,请每个学生完成书面调查小报告。
