Unit 1   Touch and feel  教学设计

(第一课时)

Teaching aims:

1. .能听说认读单词：soft , hard, thick, thin并能准确运用这些词汇来形容物品。

2. 能在生活的真实情景中，熟练运用句型“How does it feel? It’s …”去询问和表达对物品的感受；

3.能运用句型“Is it a/an…? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. It’s a/an…”去询问和表达物品是什么。

4. 通过小组合作与交流, 鼓励学生大胆说英语。

Teaching important points:

1.词汇：touch，feel，soft，hard ,thick ,thin

2.句型： How does it feel? It’s … 

Teaching difficult points:

1. 能用本课核心句型“How does it feel? It’s …”来询问并描述物品的触觉感受。
2. 能用 Is it a/an…? 来询问是什么物品。

Teaching aids： word cards，PPT，some toys，two books

Teaching steps:

I．Warming up

Sing a song 《Twinkle, twinkle , little star》

II. Leading in

T: We can use our eyes to see, we can use our ears to hear, what can we do using our hands?

Ss: We can …

T：Today let’s use our hands to touch and feel.

(引出课题 ：Touch and feel )

III. Presentation

1.T： Do you like toys? Today teacher brings some toys to our class. Let’s have a look! (教师拿出玩具熊)

(1) What is it?

(2) What color is it?

(3)  Is it big or small?

(4) Do you like it?

T: I like it too. Let me touch it. Oh, it’s soft.

(用学生喜爱的小玩具吸引他们的注意力，引出本课新词“soft“)

(Show the toy car ) Learn the word “hard”.

Make the students touch and say: It’s soft /hard.

(Then show two books and compare them) learn the words “thick &thin”

2. Practice the words and the sentence: It’s …

3. Play a touching game.

T: You did a good job! A touching game for you!

Touch your nose.

How does it feel? 

S1: It’s soft.

Touch your desk. How does it feel? S2: It’s hard.

Touch your English book. How does it feel? S3: It’s thin .

T: Just now I asked you a question “How does it feel? ” (出示问句) Do you know how to answer it?（出示答句）“It’s …”

(通过让学生摸一摸的游戏引出问句“How does it feel?”并让学生回答触摸感受，使学生进一步理解句子的含义)

Show the conversation and read it.
