掌握宾语从句关键: 宾语从句的连接词 宾语从句的时态 宾语从句的语序
that连接的宾语从句,用来陈述一件事或表达一种感情等,由陈述句转化而来。
1. He says (that) he is listening t the weather reprt.2. I knw that freigners find China very different frm their wn cuntries.3. I’m afraid (that) he can’t cme.4. She asked us t imagine that we were in a stry.
if或whether连接的宾语从句,由一般疑问句转化而来,常放在ask,see,knw,wnder,find ut等动词/组后面。常可换用,口语中多用if。
1. The ld wman asked me if I knew the way t the hspital. 2. - Is Peter there? - Hld n,please. I'll see if I can find him fr yu. 3. Nbdy knws whether/if it will rain tmrrw. 4. He wndered if /whether he had given crrect anwsers. 5. I’d like t find ut wether I am blacklisted.
如果宾语从句由一般疑问句转换而来,其引导词用if或whether。一般情况下,二者可以通用,但从句中有r nt或从句充当介词的宾语时,只能用whether。如:I dn’t knw if/whether she will cme here. 我不知道她是否将来这儿。Srry,I dn’t knw whether he will cme r nt.对不起,我不知道他是否会来。
连接代词和连接副词引导的宾语从句是由特殊疑问句变化而来,要用陈述句语序。常放在:see, say, tell, ask, answer, knw, decide, find ut, imagine, suggest, wnder, discver等动词/组后面。

宾语从句用陈述语序。如: He is an hnest by. The teacher said.→The teacher said(that)he was an hnest by. Des he wrk hard?I wnder.→I wnder if/whether he wrks hard. When did he leave?I dn’t knw. →I dn’t knw when he left.

①主句是现在的时态,从句的时态可根据实际情况而定。如: I hear that she has written three letters t the headmaster. Mr Green says that the snw was very heavy last mnth.
②主句是过去的某种时态, 从句一定要用过去的某种时态。
如:We didn’t knw why she had missed the flight.He tld me that he was watching a cartn film at 10 ’clck this mrning.注意:如果宾语从句表述的是客观真理、自然现象等时,不管主句是什么时态,从句都要用一般现在时。如:He said that light travels much faster than sund.

千万别掉以轻心,还有一点需要提醒:有些词有“两种词义、两种用法,见到了要注意区分。
if和when既能引导状语从句,又能引导宾语从句。因此,遇到它们就要认真分析一下,它们究竟是什么意思。如:If it rains tmrrw, I wn’t cme.(时间状语从句)I dn’t knw if it will rain tmrrw. (宾语从句)
