When ne girl perfrmed a standing back tuck (翻折), Simne was sure she culd d ne t. Her cach didn't believe her, s Simne tried the trick and made it n the spt.
    At 9, Simne learned why she culdn't sit still: She had ADHD(多动症).Her brain mved fast and her bdy did t—which made it hard fr her t cncentrate in schl but which als made her an amazing gymnast. “The challenges we face help define wh we are,” Simne wrte. “My challenge is als my superpwer. ”Simne's superpwer wuld help make her ne f the mst dynamic gymnasts ever seen.
    Simne is ne f the greatest athletes in histry. At age 16, she wn tw gld medals at the Artistic Gymnastics Wrld Champinships(AGWC), including the all­arund (the ttal scre frm cmpeting in all events).She has nw wn 25 wrld medals, 19 f them gld. That's the mst in wrld gymnastics histry.
    Simne cmpeted in her first Olympics in 2016.She was the first female U.S. gymnast t win fur gld medals in an Olympic Games. Since then, Simne has debuted (首次呈现) sme mves never successfully dne in wrld cmpetitins, including a duble­duble dismunt (下马) frm the balance beam. The mve became knwn as the Biles.     Because the bdy wants t preserve weight, a slw apprach t lsing extra punds is healthier than sharply cutting calries. It's better t pace yur weight lss by eating just enugh calries t keep yu at insufficiency while still meeting mst f yur bdy's energy needs. This will help keep yur metablism wrking efficiently.
    Determining the number f calries yu need t eat t meet that rate f weight lss will depend n several factrs, including yur age, starting weight, activity level and sex. Candace Pumper, a staff dietitian with the Ohi State University Wexner Medical Center in Clumbus, says, “The Academy f Nutritin and Dietetics psitin statement n adult weight management recmmends 1,200 t 1,500 calries per day fr wmen and 1,500 t 1,800 calries per day fr men t supprt weight lss.”
    She ntes, hwever, thse guidelines are “nt meant t substitute fr prfessinal nutritinal advice r treatment.
