    (1)能听懂有关表达建议的对话;

    (2)能正确使用表达建议的句子给他人提出合理的建议。

    养成与他人友好相处、乐于助人的优良品质。

    (2)学会表达建议的句子

    2. 难点:能正确使用表达建议的句子给他人提出合理的建议。

    教学过程

    Step 1  Warming up

    1. Check homework.

    2. Retell the passage in Lesson 11 using the pictures and key words.

      

    Step 2  Presentation 

    1. Teach the new words centre, will, pair and the phrase go shopping, at the shopping centre by using the pictures and the discussion.

    Let’s go shopping.

              去购物

    at the shopping centre /ˈsentə/ n. 中心,中央

    在购物中心

    Saturday /ˈsætədɪ/ n. 星期六

    When will we go shopping?

    /wɪl/ v. aux. 将要

    a pair of shoes 一双鞋

    /peə/ n. 双;对

    2. Get the class to remember the new words and phrases.

    Step 3  Listening and circling

    Teacher saysKim wants to go shopping with her friends. She emails them. Now, listen and circle the correct words. First, look through the sentences, then listen to the recording and circle. (Lets Do It! No.1)

    1. Kim and her friends will meet at the (shopping centre/school/library) this Saturday.

    2. Kim’s friends can come with their(mothers/fathers/grandparents).

    3. Kim wants to buy a pair of (pants/shoes/gloves) and a (yellow/white/pink)

    blouse for school.

    Answers: 1. shopping centre 2. mothers 3. shoes, pink

    Step 4  Reading and answering

    1. Get the class to read the email following the recording.

    2. Read the email by themselves and answer the following questions. (Lets Do It! No.2)

    1. Who does Kim want to go shopping with?

    2. When will they meet?

    3. What will Kim wear?

    Answers: 1. Her friends (Jenny, Danny, Kate and Steven).

    2. They will meet at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday.

    3. She will wear her favourite dress.

    Step 5  Listening and finding

    Play the recording for the class to listen and underline the sentences for suggestions.

    Underlined sentences

    Lets go shopping.

    Lets meet at the shopping centre at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday.

    You can come with your mum!

    You can wear your favourite clothes.

    T says: The structures for suggestions:

          1. Let’s do sth. 咱们做某事吧。

    2. You can do sth. 你可以做某事。

    Step 6  Reading and retelling

    Get the class to read the email by themselves, and retell it according to the mind map.

           

    Step 7  Exercises

    1. Fill in the blanks with the words or phrases in the box. (Lets Do It! No.3)

      go shopping 去购物

      “go +v.-ing”表示“去做某事”,常用于从事体育活动或休闲娱乐活动。类似的常见短语还有:

       go swimming 去游泳             go boating 去划船

       go skiing 去滑雪                 go hiking去远足

       go skating去滑冰                go bike riding 骑自行车兜风

    2. I will wear my favourite dress.我将穿我最喜欢的连衣裙。

      will v. aux. 将要

    “will+动词原形构成一般将来时,表示将要发生的动作或存在的状态。will 适用于各种人称和数,在句中不能单独作谓语,后必须接动词原形。

      I will see you next week. 下周我将去看你。

      He will go to Beijing soon. 他很快就去北京。

    3. I want to buy a pair of shoes and a pink blouse for school

    我想买一双鞋和一件粉色的衬衫上学穿!

    a pair of…一双//……。其后常接由两部分合在一起组成的物品,其后必须接复数名词。数词+pair(s) of…”作主语时,谓语动词的单复数形式应于pair(s)保持一致。

     That pair of pants is very nice. 那条长裤很好。

     These pairs of shorts are for my friends. 这几条短裤是给我朋友们的。
