    【教材分析】

    本课通过LucyLi Ming打电话,介绍了Lucy所在的加拿大学校宏观的外貌情况.从主题的角度来看,是对三年级下册Unit 5 School的进一步学习.从文化渗透方面来看,是对不同国家学校生活的进一步了解.作为第四单元的第二课,既是对Lesson 1故事情节的顺承,又为Lesson 3 There are句型的学习作了铺垫.

    【教学目标】

    1语言知识目标:

    1)学习本课的单词: Building, tree, gym, send, photo.

    2)在文本语境中学习"There is an old building in my school."There be句型,了解语意.

    2语言技能目标:

    1)能听说认读单词: Building, tree, gym, send, photo.

    2)能在文本语境中初步感知、运用There be句型描述学校外貌,表达"某处有什么".

    3)能朗读本课的课文.

    3情感态度目标:通过对学校宏观的介绍,表达自己对学校生活的喜爱.

    4文化意识目标:了解西方国家学校的基本情况,培养学生的跨文化意识.

    【教学重点】

    在文本语境中初步感知并运用There be句型表达"某处有什么",重点运用There is句型宏观表达学校的外貌.

    【教学难点】

    在具体的语境和活动中区别运用There isThere are句型.

    1Boys and girls, I will show you some pictures, let's enjoy.

    1配乐播放国外学校的照片

    2T: What are the pictures about?

    S: School.

    T: Yes, can you say some words about school? For example, computer room...

    老师顺承学生的回答给予回复.

    2T: Ok, you're so clever. You can say school words very well. Now let's chant.

    Big school, small school.

    Happy school is fun.

    We like singing there.

    We like drawing there.

    We like reading there.

    We like playing there.

    Big school, small school.

    Happy school is fun.

    I love you, school.

    Oh, yeah!

    3Lead-in: Do you love your school?

    (出示Lucy图片) Lucy loves her school, too. She is in a new school of Canada. Her friend Li Ming wants to know what her new school is like. Let's learn U4L2.

    The presentation of the materials

    1Watch the video and answer "What's her school like?"

    填空形式:It's not big, but very beautiful.

    2T: Ok now let's look at some beautiful photos of her school.

    3The first photo: 出示教学楼的照片

    1What can you see in the first photo? It's a building.

    2学习单词building——图片练习building (a white building, a tall building, a red building, a yellow building课本图片)

    3Lucy says.播放该句录音,具体学习"There is an old building in my school." 出示there is 词卡和汉语"",板书句型.

    4利用图片练习There is句型.

    There is a... in my school.

    4The second photo:出示有教学楼,同时有花和树的照片

    1T: Look at the photo, there is an old building. What else can you see from the photo?

    2学习单词tree, 渗透ee的发音(see, meet)

    3学习句型"There are many trees and flowers."出示there are词卡和汉语"",板书句型.

    4利用图片练习There are many trees and flowers.句型.

    5小结:T: Lucy, what's your new school like?

    学生以Lucy的口气介绍: My school is not big. There is an old building. There are many trees and flowers. How beautiful. I love my school.(师生集体朗读)

    5The third photo:出示图书馆的照片

    1As you know, in Lucy's school there is a library. What's in the library?

    S: Many books.

    2利用选择的形式学习句型.

    There is/ there are many books in it. I like reading there.

    3小结:T: Lucy, what's your new school like?

    学生以Lucy的口气介绍: My school is not big, but beautiful. There is a library. There are many books in it. I like reading there. How interesting! I love my school.(找两个同学读,然后全班集体读)

    6The last photo:出示体育馆的照片

    1Let's enjoy the last photo, listen and judge the sentence: "There is a new playground in my school. I like doing sports there."播放该句录音.

    2利用判断形式学习句型There is a new gym in my school.---并学习单词gym--图片练习There is a gym in my school.

    3小结:T: Lucy, what's your new school like?

    学生以Lucy的口气介绍: My school is not big, but beautiful and interesting. There is a new gym in my school. I like doing sports there. How cool. I love my school.(自由练习,单独找同学来表达)

    (学生可以替换具体的活动playing football, playing basketball, playing games, swimming, skipping, running...)

    7利用黑板和所贴的图片小结课文,并适当提示there isthere are的区别.

    Do you like Sam's school? Some said yes, some said no. now please design your ideal school. 紧接着上述的活动,学生自己设计理想的学校(学生提前画图),用英语简单介绍.
