设计说明 本课时主要训练学生听力。因为本节课的听力内容是Section A 3a课文内容的延续, 所以通过复习Section A 3a的内容导入新课。先让学生想象故事的结局, 然后再听听力内容。通过勾选故事剩余部分发生的事、回答问题、填空等活动使学生最终听懂听力内容, 并对故事的剩余内容进行角色表演。本课时中也出现了一些重要的知识点, 因此最后和学生一起回顾这些知识点。 教学目标 通过本课时的学习, 让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握重点句子: ①How long did it take the general to find the happy man? ②What made the poor man so happy even though he had no power, money or fame? 2. 能力目标 (1) 能听懂故事《快乐者的衬衫》剩余部分, 猜测这个故事可能的结局。 (2) 分角色表演故事剩余部分。 3. 情感目标 通过学习, 理解快乐的真谛, 培养乐观、积极向上的性格。 重点难点 重点: 听懂故事《快乐者的衬衫》的内容; 学习使役动词make的用法 难点: 能运用make谈论自己的感受 教学准备 PPT课件; 1c, 1d的录音 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Revision 1. Get the class to retell the passage in Section A 3a. 2. Get the class to fill in the blanks. A long time ago, in a ________ country, there lived an ________. He slept ________ and didn’t ________. His face was always ________. He often cried for ________. This ________ the queen and his people ________. One day, a doctor was ________ to examine the king. But he found ________ his body.“It’s all in his mind. ________ medicine ________ rest can help him. What he needs is the shirt of a happy person to wear. That’ll make him happy.” The prime minister was called to the palace. But when they explained the king’s situation to him, he said,“________ I have a lot of power, it doesn’t make me happy. The general cannot find a happy person and the king remains unhappy forever. b. The general finds a happy person with power and money. c. The general realizes he is a happy person and gives his shirt to the king to wear. d. The king suddenly becomes happy without the shirt of a happy person. 2. Work on 1b. What are some other possible endings to the story? Discuss your ideas with your partner. Step 3 Listening 1. Work on 1c. Say: Now, listen to The Shirt of a Happy Man (Part II) and check (√) the things that happened in the rest of the story. ________ The general searched for three days and found a happy person. ________ The general could not find a happy person. ________ The general saw a poor man on the street. ________ The poor man was a happy man. ________ The poor man gave the general his shirt. Man: I have everything I want, and I don’t want what I can’t have. So I’m happy, and my song comes from the happiness in my heart. General: Then I need to give your shirt to the king.
