教学目标：

1. learn to use Yes/No questions and short answers to identify ownership.

2. learn to use possessive pronouns：

 mine, yours, his, hers.

教学重点：

1. Key vocabulary:

  Eric’s schoolbag, his pencil, Anna’s books, they’re=they are, isn’t=is not, aren’t＝are not.

2. Key sentences:

 a. -Is this your pencil?      -Yes, it is. It’s mine. / No, it isn’t. It’s hers.

 b. -Is that your schoolbag?  -Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. It’s his.

 c. -Are these your books?   -Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t. They’re hers.

 d. -Are those her keys?     -Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t. They’re mine.

2. Ask Ss to read the sentences in the grammar box by themselves.Pay attention to the Demonstrative Pronouns “this” “that” “these” “those” and observe the short forms.

Focus on the shortening words.Try to read and recite them.

3. Practice the possessive pronouns.

让学生反复读句子，概括这些句子的特点并提醒学生关注名词性物主代词, 练习这些语法。

1. Work on 3a.

Ask Ss to look at the picture in 3a carefully, then complete the questions and answers and tell why.

Ss work in groups to make conversation according to the things in the picture. Call some Ss to present in class.

Make Ss read the questions in 3b first and then complete the answers individually.

Ask some Ss to speak out their answers and reasons.

4. Work on 3c.

Read the instruction of 3c to Ss,and divide them into groups of four, to play a guessing game.
