    UNIT 4  My Neighbourhood

    Unit Review

    设计说明

    先复习本单元重点单词,巩固已学知识,然后通过填空练习让学生掌握本单元相关词汇的用法。接下来讲解语法,并完成教材中相应的练习。再进行听说训练,运用所学句子组织对话,进行口语训练,达到学以致用的目的。通过针对性的对话训练,让学生学会敢于表达,并锻炼学生独立思考的能力。然后进行写作训练,提升语言综合运用的能力。最后,完成自我检测和当堂达标,提升学生的解题能力。

    教学目标

    通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标:

    1.知识目标:

    (1)复习本单元所学单词、短语和句型;

    (2)because引导状语从句的用法;

    (3)完成本课节的相关练习。

    2.能力目标:

    通过针对性的对话训练,学会敢于表达,并锻炼独立思考的能力。

    3.情感目标:

    了解、热爱自己的家乡。

    1.重点because引导状语从句的用法。

    2.难点让学生克服对开口讲英语的畏惧心理,学会敢于表达。

    Step 1  Revision

    Ask the students to review the words and tell the meaning of them.

    Step 2  Building your vocabulary

    1. Let the students fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the given words or phrases on Page 62.

    Step 3  Grammar

    because 引导的原因状语从句

    because是从属连词,引导原因状语从句,表示直接的原因或理由,常用于回答why引导的疑问句。because 引导的原因状语从句可以放在主句前或主句后,但一般置于主句之后。

    I wont go there because I must do my homework first.

    我不会去那里,因为我必须先做家庭作业。

    Because he was hungry, he bought some biscuits.

    因为他饿了,所以他买了一些饼干。

    [拓展]

    (1) 原因状语从句的连词在汉语中经常是成对出现的,即“因为······所以······”,但在英语中这种关联词不可以成对出现,只能用其一。即 because不能与 so连用。

    I didnt catch the bus because I got up late.

    因为起床晚了,所以我没赶上公共汽车。

    I got up late so I didnt catch the bus.

    我起床晚了,所以我没赶上公共汽车。

    (2) because引导的原因状语从句有时可以与 because of短语互换。 because of后面接名词、代词或名词性短语。

    He didnt come because it was raining heavily.

    = He didnt come because of the heavy rain.

    因为下大雨,他没有来。
