设计说明 首先,通过图片设置情景编写就医的对话,复习上节课的内容。接着,展示图片,以师生讨论图片的形式教学生词和表达,在跟读单词后,利用Let’s Do It! No.3 巩固词汇。然后,以听后回答问题的方式导入课文,通过读后匹配段意、读后判断正误、读后回答问题和听后找短语并翻译等环节渐次深入地学习课文;并叫学生根据思维导图复述课文。最后,谈论学生自己的就医经历。整个教学,由书面知识的学习运用过渡到对实际经历的表述,体现了“学以致用”的教学理念。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握单词:refuse, toothache, German 接触单词:dentist, rotten, fortunately, headset, aching, wolf 短语:go to the dentist, have no choice but to…, right away 2. 能力目标 (1)掌握有关害怕或恐惧的英语表达; (2)能用英语描述自己或他人的就医经历。 3. 情感目标 克服恐惧心理,勇敢大胆地面对挑战。 重点难点 1. 重点:本节课重点单词、短语、句型。 2. 难点:能用英语描述自己或他人的就医经历。 教学准备 PPT课件;课文音频;相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Review Have a dialogue about seeing a doctor. Show the class two pictures and get the class to have a dialogue in pairs.

Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach the new words dentist, toothache, rotten, aching and expressions go to the dentist by talking about the picture. T: What’s the man? Ss: He’s a dentist. T: What’s wrong with the woman? Ss: She has a toothache. T: Why does she have a toothache? Ss: Because a tooth is rotten. T: Yes. She has an aching tooth. What will you do if you have a toothache? Ss: We’ll go to the dentist. 2. Teach the new words refuse, headset, wolf , German and sentence Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is. using pictures and talking. Teacher says: Have you heard an old German saying? Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is.(恐惧让狼看起来更可怕。) 3. Read the new words following the recording, and read the expressions alone. Step 8 Talking Work in pairs and talk about your experiences at a doctor’s office. Task tips: Do you still remember one of your visits to a doctor? Are you afraid of going to see a doctor? How do you overcome fear when you face a difficult situation? Step 9 Discussion Get the class to discuss how we should take care of our teeth? Example: • Brush your teeth twice a day. • Eat some soft food. • Eat less hot food, cold food or hard food. • Change your toothbrush(牙刷) often. • Don’t eat sweets before sleeping. • If you have a toothache, you should go to see a dentist.
