设计说明 通过图片展示复习前面已经学习的各种鸟,复习扎龙自然保护区,拓展盐城自然保护区和丹顶鹤的学习,在完成课本相关听力训练同时,学习听力的相关技巧和学习本课出现的一些新短语,降低学习的难度。接下来让学生完成书上的练习,通过PPT教给学生听力的相关技巧。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:cover, clearly, red-crowned cranes, speaker, tour 2.能力目标 (1)听录音,获取具体信息。 (2)根据从录音中获取的信息完成报告。 (3)学会询问参加某项活动的建议。 (4)学会对别人的询问作出适当的反应。 (5)学习名词性后缀。 (6)掌握一些通过加后缀-er、-or和-ist构成的表示人物的名词。 3.情感目标 引导、教育学生保护鸟类、保护自然。 重点难点 重点:学会询问参加某项活动的建议。 难点:学会对别人的询问作出适当的反应。 教学准备 PPT课件;听力录音;相关图片 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Show some pictures and ask students to answer the question: What birds can you see? Step 2 Listening 1. Ask students to read part A1 and find the differences between the choices. 2. Ask students to finish part A1. 3. Ask students to check the answers in part A1 together. 4. Ask students to listen to the first part of a radio programme and check answers in Part A1. Answers:1c 2c 3b 4b 5b 6b 5. Ask students to finish Part A3 without listening. 6. Ask the students to pay attention to some key words and write in shorthand while listening, then after listening, students can write down the complete forms of the words. For example: red-crowned cranes—rc cranes. 7. Ask students to listen to radio programme and check answers in Part A3. Ask the students to listen to the conversation and answer the question. What advice does Sandy give to Daniel? Answers: She advises Daniel to take a pair of binoculars, some water and a notebook. 2. Teach the new words: binoculars,clearly. 3. Ask the students to read and practice in pairs, talking about having a picnic. A: What should we take with us when we go on a school trip/go to...? B: You’d better take a camera/... You can take some beautiful pictures/... A: OK. What else should we take? B: You should... It’s a long walk/... You may... A: All right. Anything else? B: Take a mobile phone with you/...You may need help if you get lost/... A: That’s good idea. Thank you very much. Step 4 Study skills 1. Explain suffixes -er, -or and -ist to students. 2. Present some exercises about suffixes -er, -or and -ist. Ask students to finish together. 3. Show some sentences about suffixes -er, -or and -ist to help the students understand better. 4. Extant some suffixes -an, -ese. 5. Ask students to finish more exercises to consolidate.
