    Unit 4  My day Reading

    设计说明

    首先呈现Millie的一天,导入与本课相关的问题,然后设置情景逐一呈现本课的新单词和短语,让学生了解课文的概况。接下来深入了解文章内容,先略读课文,回答一些简单的问题;再了解课文的结构,然后就每一部分提出不同的任务,进行不同的任务型教学,同时也可以帮助学生逐渐加深对课文的理解。然后再逐一完成课本上关于课文的相关练习,让学生不断地巩固课文的内容,最后进行课文具体细节的总结,帮助学生复述课文,在拥有了一定的语言技能之后,能够试着结合实际去描述自己的学校生活,从而达到学以致用。

    教学目标

    通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:

    1. 知识目标

    掌握词汇:in the morning/afternoon/eveningfirstchateachothereach otherpractisewishhave a good time

    2. 能力目标

    (1)进一步了解Millie的在校生活

    Step 1  Warming up

    Revise Millies day by presenting her timetable and then ask some questions about it to present the new words and phrases in the text.

    1. When does her first(第一)class begin?

    2. How much time does she spend (花费) doing after-school activities?

    Answers

    1. Her first class begins at 815 a. m.

    2. About half an hour.

    Step 2  Presentation

    1. Look at some pictures and ask What do they do?

    in the morning: They do morning exercises firstthen they start their lessons.

    after class:      They often chat with each other or play in the playground.

    in the afternoon:  do after-school activities  go to the Reading Club

                                         practise playing volleyball  

    2. Present the new words.
