Ask and answer like this: A: Is there a movie theatre in your city? B: … A: How often do you go there? B: … A: What is your favourite movie? B: … Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the class some pictures to teach the new words kung fu, movie, theatre, price, magic, hero, fight, airport, save and hotel.
We watched a kung fu movie in the theatre.
The price of the magic show ticket is 60 yuan.
The hero fights bad people.

At the hotel, an old man gives him a magic map. 在旅馆里,一位老人给了他一张魔法地图。 give sb. sth. = give sth. to sb.,意为“给某人某物”。 I will give you a concert ticket. = I will give a concert ticket to you. 我将给你一张音乐会的门票。 [注意] 当表示所给的物品为代词it或them时,只则能用give it/ them to sb.这种形式。 Give it to Jenny.把它给詹妮。 3. …Kung Fu Dinosaur fights the bad man.功夫恐龙与坏人搏斗起来。 fight用作及物动词,意为“与……搏斗/作战”。 The lion fights the wolves. 狮子与狼搏斗。 [拓展] (1)fight用作不及物动词,常与介词against搭配,意为“与……作战”。 They fight against the waste.他们对浪费宣战。 (2)fight用作名词,意为“战斗”。have a fight with sb.表示“与某人打架”。 4.
