Once upn a time, there was a man in the Kingdm f Zheng. He wanted t buy a pair f shes fr himself. He tk the measurement(尺寸) f his wn feet with a piece f string(一条绳子). Then he went t the market. He was lking at sme shes at the she-maker’s when he realized he had left the measurement at hme. He put dwn the shes and rushed hme t fetch(去取) it. By the time he returned with the measurement the market had been clsed. S he failed t get his shes. Smebdy asked him, “Why didn’t yu just try the shes n yur feet?” He answered,” I wuld rather trust the measurement than my feet.”
