动名词(Gerunds)的构成:动名词由动词原形加词尾“ing”构成。兼有动词和名词的特征。
英语重读闭音节是指在一个音节中,以辅音音素结尾而且是重读音节的音节。重读闭音节中元音字母不是发它本身的字母音,而是发短元音。
V-ing构成规律:1. 直接在动词词尾加-ing Eg: think -- thinking hld-- hlding
2.以不发音的e结尾的动词去e+ing Eg:dance-- dancing cmmunicate-- cmmunicating
3.重读闭音节结尾,末尾只有一个辅音字母时,辅音字母须双写再+ingEg:put--putting begin--beginning
4.少数几个以-ie结尾的单音节动词,须变ie为y,再加ingEg:lie--lying die--dying

A Gerunds as subjects
动名词做句子主语时,谓语动词使用单数形式。
