Activity One
- Read and complete
T: Boys and girls, do you still remember what Boy and Sam would like? What about the bird? Please work in pairs and complete.
The bird is ______. Sam and Bobby ______ him.

The bird ____________ a worm(虫子).
- Look and say
T: The bird is not hungry anymore. Bobby invites the bird to his new home. The bird wants to know more. Can you help them?
设计意图: 通过组织学生看图编对话,在具体的场景中操练询问物品位置的句型,使得学生仿佛身临其境。与此同时,在主题情境中操练语言知识更是事半功倍,培养学生综合语用能力,有效增强学习自信心与成就感。

设计意图: 在本环节中,教师指导学生先观察图片提取信息,再根据相应单词自行归纳发音规律,借助朗朗上口的chant巩固新知。通过将/g/与/k/两个音相比较,帮助学生自主建构清晰的知识结构,并及时提供语料进行操练。教师在其中循循善诱,逐层递进,重视学生在学习过程中的主体性,即学即用,及时评价,体现了“教-学-评”一致的原则。
