    1.It's leaving frm Platfrm 2. 本句中is leaving运用了现在进行时,但它 并 不表示正在发生的动作,而表示即将发生 的动作,即“现在进行时表将来”。有此用 法的动词通常是表示位置移动或方向性的词, 常见的有:leave(离开)、start(启程)、g(走, 去)、cme(来)、arrive(到达)、fly(乘飞机)等。 例:When are yu starting?你什么时候动身?

    2. S am I, … “S am I” 是承接上句 “I'm srry yu can't cme with us,Betty”,意为“我也感到很遗憾”。 “S+be动词/情态动词/助动词+主语”意为“……也……”,表示前面的肯定情况也适用于后者。 例:Mary went t the Summer Palace yesterday,and s did I.玛丽昨天去颐和园了,我也去了。
    ① “s+主语+be动词/情态动词/助动词” 意为“的确如此”。 例:—Peter is interested in maths.彼得 对数学感兴趣。—S he is.的确如此。②如果表示前面的否定情况也适用于后者, 用“neither/nr+be动词/情态动词/助动 词+主语”结构,表示“……也不……”。 例:Tm didn't g t the Great Wall,and neither did I.汤姆没有去长城,我也没有 去。
    3. …but I can't miss tw weeks f schl. miss v. 未出席; 未出现 其后可直接接名词作宾语。 例:I didn‘t miss any class last term.上学 期我没缺过一节课。
    miss作动词还有“想念;错过;漏掉”的意思。miss作名词意为“女士; 小姐”, 此时m必须大写, 常用于姓名或姓之前, 尤指未婚女子。例: Miss Brwn。
    3. I can lk after myself, althugh it wn’t be easy fr me. lk after意为“照看,照顾”,相当于 take care f。 例:Dn't wrry;yur sn can lk after himself at schl.不要担心,你的儿 子在学校会照顾好自己的。
    4. Well,make sure yu eat plenty f fresh fruit and vegetables.
    (1)make sure意为“确保,弄明白”,后常接f短语或者that从句(that可以省略)。 例:—Make sure f his cming befre yu set ff.你在出发前要确认一下他是否会来。—I make sure he will cme.我确信他会来。
    (2)plenty f 意为“大量的,充足的”,既可以修饰可数名词复数,也可以修饰不可数名词。◇I need plenty f time t finish the wrk.我需要大量的时间去完成这项工作。
    5. I can ck simple meals.
    simple adj.简单的,容易的。侧重指事物不复杂,易于迅速解决或很快 被头脑接受。其副词形式为simply(简单地,仅仅,不过)。 例:This machine is very simple t use. 这台机器非常容易操作。
    6. There wn't be anybdy t wake yu up in the mrning.
    (1) anybdy prn. 任何人 anybdy的同义词为anyne,常用于否定句、疑问句及条件 句。它也可以用于肯定句,意为“随便哪个人”。如有形容词修饰,形容词要放在anybdy之后。 例:Tm is sleeping. He desn't want anybdy else t truble him. 汤姆正在睡觉,他不想别人打扰他。
    (2) wake up 作及物动词短 语时,意为“使(某人)醒来”,若宾语是人称代词,则要放在wake和up之间;作不及物动词短语时,意为“(某人自己)醒来”。◇Please wake me up at six tmrrw mrning.请在明天早上六点叫醒我
    含sme的复合不定代词一般用于肯定句中,也可以用于表建议或请求的疑问句中;复合不定代词作主语时,谓语动词用单数;当形容词修饰复合不定代词时,形容词要放在复合不定代词之后。例:Smebdy is waiting fr yu at the schl gate.有人在学校门口等你。
    拓展:advice是advise的名词形式,它是不可数名词。近义词是suggestin,它是可数名词。◇Please give me sme advice /suggestins n hw t learn English well.请就如何学好英语给我一些建议。

    (1)advise v.建议。 常用短语:advise sb. t d sth.建议某人做某事;advise sb. n/abut sth.就某事给某人提建议。 例:He advised me t g there n ft.他建议我步行去那里。
    (2) be abut t 刚要,即将。它是一般将来时的一种结构,表示近期内即将发生的动作。其中t是不定式符号,后跟动词原形。它常与when引导的句子连用,此时常用于过去时。例:Take yur places,please. We are abut t start.各位请入席,我们就要开始了。

    send v. 发送;寄;派遣。常用短语:send fr 派人去叫; 把……发送/寄给……;send up 发射。例:Mr Green ften sends his sn t the music club n weekends.格林先生经常在周末送他的儿子去音乐俱乐部。
