Lesson 14 教案
一、教学目标:
1.知识目标:
让学生学习有关本单元的词汇及表达;能运用Would you … 结构来进行对话。
2.能力目标:
由设置情景导入对目标语言的复习,使学生能熟练运用Would you… 来表述自己的邀请,并学会目标语言接受或拒绝邀请,从而达到交流的目的。
3.情感目标:
引导学生充分进行探究,交流与讨论等教学活动,培养他们的钻研与合作精神。通过对未来计划的思考和制定,让学生从小养成做事有计划,有目的,并要通过不断地努力才能实现自己的梦想;从而将知识运用扩展到现实生活的领域。
二、教学重难点:
1.掌握生词:time, after, then, me, bye, invite…
2.掌握句子:Would you like come to my party? 及其回答“Sure, I’d love to.”
三、教学准备:
1. Teacher: slides, red stars.
2. Students: notebooks.
四、教学过程:
Module1. Warming up
Step 1. Check students’ homework
- Divide students into sixteen groups.
- Let students communicate their homework with group members.
- Choose the best one in each group to share with all the students.
【思路点拨】:这一环节每个学生都可以参与到活动中,并且通过集体评议的形式选出好的作业。这一形式使学生在活动中找到了自信,提高了他们的积极性,为后面环节的顺利开展作下良好的铺垫。
Step 2. Free talk
Ask students some questions. For example:
What’s the date today?
What day is it today?
When is Women’s Day?
When is Children’s Day?
When is Teachers’ Day?
When is your birthday?
What are you doing for your birthday?
Are you having a birthday party?
【思路点拨】这一教学环节和学生谈论一些简单的日常会话问题,放松学生紧张的心情, 并引导学生思考并就老师提出的问题进行回答,激发了学生们学习的潜能,创设了真实的语言环境,引导学生在情景中学语言。并且通过对话附以图片的方式让学生复习所学单词,从听觉与视觉上激发了学生的兴趣。在这一活动中,教师是活动的引导者,学生是活动的主体。
Module2. Presentation
Step1. Review some important words and the months of the year.
1. Words and expressions
Let play a game called “Brain storm”:
a. In this part, there are two groups: Boys and girls. The student who gives the right answer will get a red star. And the winner will get five marks.
b. There are some words. Ask students to speak out them.( If you know, don’t need to put up your hands, just stand up.
c. Review the months of a year.
【思路点拨】这一环节的设计思路在于通过这一竞争活动,既可以在一种愉悦的氛围中复习本单元所学的重点单词与词汇,又让学生感受到学习语言、完成任务的成就感,极大地调动了全班学生的积极性。在这一过程中重点单词与词汇得到了充分地复习,为下一步活动的顺利进行做了良好的铺垫。
2. Do exercises
Do some exercises on the screen.
【思路点拨】练习是对单词和短语的检测。上个环节对本单元重点词汇与短语进行充分的复习后,再经过这一环节的笔头练习,基础知识得到进一步地巩固,从而达到了本节课的初级目标。
Step2. Pair work
1. “盛情难却”
Today is June 16th. It is Kay’s birthday. Now, she is making phone calls to invite her friends to come to her birthday party. Ask students to do pair work using the target languages:
---Can you come to my birthday party?
---Sorry, I can’t. I have to study for a test / go to a doctor.
---Could you come to my birthday party?
---Sorry, I can’t. I am helping my mother / having a piano lesson.
---Would you like to come to my birthday party?
---Sorry, I can’t. I have to play soccer / go to the movies / go to a dentist.
【思路点拨】这一环节的设计思路在于通过这一活动,既可以把本单元所学的目标知识应用于实际,使他们感到学习语言、完成任务的成就感,又极大地调动了全班学生的积极性。在这一过程中,目标语言得到充分地操练,学生运用地更加熟练,为下一步活动的顺利进行做了良好的铺垫。
2. “我来总结”
表示邀请的句型: (你能来参加我的聚会吗?)
a. Can you come to my party?
b. Could you come to my party?
c. Would you like to come to my party?
接受邀请: Sure, I’d love/like to.
拒绝邀请: I’m sorry, I can’t. I have to…/I’m V-ing…
【思路点拨】上个环节对如何提出邀请以及如何接受或拒绝进行充分的口头练习后,再经过这一环节的总结,学生对本单元的目标语言有了一个系统明确的了解,以便于在今后更熟练自如的运用目标语言来交流。
Step3. “我来学”
Review an invitation in this unit. After reading, then try to fill in the blanks.
Step4. “学以致用”
Let students make their own invitation according to the invitation given. Then do pair work using the information of the invitation.
Step5. Make your calendar
Make your own calendar. Then try to finish Tony’s letter to Henry according to your information. After finishing the letter, ask three students to read it.
Module3 Consolidation and Extension-----Writing
Read Lisa’ e-ail, first. Then write a letter to answer Lisa’s e-mail to tell her your reasons why you can’t go to his party.
【思路点拨】设置写作这一任务的目的在于让学生将本单元所学知识进行整合,归纳并升华。真正意义上体现了“在用中学,在学中用,学了就用”的教育理念。
