【教学目标】
1.认知目标:
(1)能听懂并且会读本课的内容.
(2)能读、写、说出和听懂下面词汇: sky, inside, window, chair, table, beside, fall.
(3)可以说出和听懂May I take a picture of you? He hurts his tail.等用语.
2.能力目标:能在一种贴近现实生活的语境中正确地运用所学的用语进行对话,以达到“学习活动化,活动交际化”的目的.
【教学重点】
掌握词汇sky, inside, window, chair, table, beside, fall.
【教学难点】
运用本课所学的用语进行情景对话.
【教学准备】
教学卡片cards、tape-recorder、多媒体课件ppt.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Warm-up
师生之间互相打招呼问好并自由对话(Free talk)营造上英语课的氛围,让学生进入学习英语的状态:
Hello! Nice to meet you.
How are you today?
How's the weather today?
What day is today?
How's the weather today?
Are you happy today?
Ⅱ.Presentation
1.出示故宫图片
(1)问: What's this?
(2)答: The Palace Museum.
(3)教师引导: Yesterday, Jenny, Danny and Li Ming went to the Tiananmen Square. Today, they are going to the Palace Museum, this class, let's go to the Palace Museum all together, ok?
(4)引出新课: This class, we will study lesson 9 The Palace Museum .领读课题.教师讲解故宫历史,了解故宫的悠久历史.故宫旧称紫禁城.是明清两代皇宫,中国现存最大最完整的古建筑群.1987年被联合国教科文组织列为“世界文化遗产”.占地72万多平方米,共有宫殿9000多间,都是木结构、黄琉璃瓦顶、青白石底座,饰以金碧辉煌的彩画.气魄宏伟,规划严整,极为壮观.建筑学家们认为故宫的设计与建筑,实在是一个无与伦比的杰作,它标志着我们祖国悠久的文化传统,显示着五百多年前匠师们在建筑上的卓越成就.
2.第一次阅读,略读回答问题.

学生阅读短文后,回答问题.
课件出示答案: It's sunny today. Blue.然后出示图片:使学生直观感受色彩.
3.第二次阅读,细读回答问题.
(1)How old is the Palace Museum?
(2)What color is the palace?
(3)What does Li Ming see inside the window?
(4)Who does Danny want to take a picture of?
(5)How does Danny hurt his tail?
学生细读短文,小组讨论,在原文中圈出答案,然后共同解答.
4.解答:
(1)How old is the Palace Museum?
出示答案: It's about six hundred years old.
(2)What color is the palace?
出示答案: It's red and yellow.然后出示故宫的图片,真实的呈现故宫的颜色.讲解:中国人最喜欢的颜色是红色和黄色,且以黄色为尊.
(3)What does Li Ming see inside the window?
He sees some chairs and tables. Window, chair, table是四会单词,学生拼一拼,比一比.
(4)Who does Danny want to take a picture of?
出示答案: Jenny and Li Ming.
a.教师: Danny让他们怎样拍照的?
b.出示: Li Ming, please stand beside Jenny.
c.看图理解:beside.教师拿着照相机与一些学生对话,演示要帮别人照相的用语:May I take a picture of you, ______?并帮他们照相,要求学生做动作.
T: May I take your picture?
S: Sure. / No, thanks.练说句子,同桌两人相互问答,并做出照相动作.
(5)How does Danny hurt his tail?
出示答案:He falls.讲解:fall意思是跌落,落下.学生可以借助书、文具等演示跌落的场景.
