导入新课

Step 1：Enjoy a video

    Play a video and ask students to watch it carefully. Try to understand the meaning of the video.

Step 2：Free talk

Show a picture of a people’s body. Ask students to say the names of the body parts.

Do you know the names of thee body parts?

    Check the answers. Ask students to remember the words by heart.

Watch the video carefully.

Talk about the body parts.

结合本课主题，通过让学生观看视频并且自由讨论，自然地进入情境，开始本课时的学习。

讲授新课

Step 1:Learn new words

1. Teach students to read the new words correctly. Show the pictures of the words. Let students understand the meaning of the words. Then make sentences with the words.
2. Play a game. Divide students into several groups. Show the words one by one quickly and ask students to speak out the words as soon as quickly.

Step 2:Listen and learn

1.    Let students listen to the tape and know about the main points of the passage.
2.    Learn about the language points .

       (1)also的意义和用法；辨析also,too和either

(2)smell的意义和用法

(3)speak的意义和用法；辨析speak,say,talk和tell

       (4)but和hear的用法；辨析hear和listen

       (5)play with的意义和用法

Step 3:Read and learn

  Read the text together. Try to fill in the blanks. Ask several students to give their answers. Then check the answers.

Step 4:Read and learn

Read the passage again. Try to describe Robin without looking textbook. Ask several students to give their answers.

Step 7:Let’s do it

1.Complete “Let’s do it 1”. Listen and fill in the blanks.

2.Complete “Let’s do it 2”.Label Robin’s body parts.

3.Complete “Let’s do it 3”. Read the clues and guess the body parts. 

4.Complete “Let’s do it 4”.Listen and do the actions.

Step 8:Practice

Complete the exercises and check the answers.

Step9:Homework

1.Read the text and write a passage named “My body parts”.

2. Collect more words and expressions about body parts.

Look at the pictures and try to understand the words.

Listen to the teacher carefully and take notes.

Read the text carefully. Fill in the blanks.

Describe Robin with the sentences we learnt in lesson 13.

Describe a person, then have others

 guess who he/she is.

Complete the exercises in “Let’s do it 1-4 ”.

课堂小结

  本堂课旨在让学生简单了解身体各部分的表达方式和作用。本堂课以视频自由讨论导入课程，让学生观看视频并在教师引领下，了解本堂课的主题。本单元生词比较多，故每个生词以图片和例句为工具帮助学生理解和掌握。讲解完本课知识点后，都安排了小的随堂检测，让学生学以致用。在“Look and Say”环节让学生看图补全句子，锻炼学生的口头表达能力。在练习环节，安排了精炼的练习题，对本课时的重点知识点进行了训练。本堂课的不足之处在于，留给学生自由讨论和思考的时间不多。
