    be able to understand how to give suggestions to friends and solve problems for friends.

    be able to understand the true meaning and importance of friendship.

     

    Key points and / or difficult points

    Key points: (1) Master and use relevant words and expressions appropriately to describe and discuss the behavior and quality of friends; (2) Realize the importance of friendship and think about how to get along with friends.

    Difficult points: (1) Appropriately use relevant words and expressions to describe and discuss the behavior and quality of friends; (2) Learn the way to solve problems for friends and give suggestions to friends.

    The vocabulary section presents vocabulary related to valuable qualities of friendship in the form of "friendship soup" recipes, providing language scaffolding for students to describe and evaluate the behaviors and qualities of friends. The listening and speaking part shows a conversation between two friends, guiding students to help their friends solve their problems and give suggestions to them.

    Ss check the answer to homework of the last lesson.

    To give Ss feedback and guide Ss to review the homework in the last lesson.
