过去将来时

[观察例句]

1．I knew that he would help us when we were in trouble.

2．He told us that he was going to attend the meeting.

[归纳用法]

过去将来时主要用于表示过去某个时候看来即将发生的动作或存在的状态。

He said he would come here the next Friday.

他说他下周五将来这儿。

1．过去将来时的时间状语

(1)at six the next morning/afternoon/night，the next day/Friday/week/month等；

(2)the following day/week/month/year等；

(3)two days/three weeks/four years later等；

(4)after 10 o'clock，after 10 o'clock in the morning等；

(5)when，after引导的时间状语从句。

When you asked Li Lei for help，he would never refuse you.

当你向李磊求助，他从不会拒绝你。

I would go to see him after he came back from hospital.

当他从医院回来之后，我会去看他。

2．过去将来时的结构

(1)由助动词“would/should＋动词原形”构成，should主要用于主语是第一人称时，would可用于各种人称。

She told us that she would try her best to catch up with other classmates that term.

她告诉我们那个学期她将尽她最大努力赶上班里其他同学。

The doctor said Jack would be all right in a few days.

医生说杰克几天内就会痊愈。

(2) “was/were＋going to＋动词原形”常用来表示按计划或安排即将发生的事。

They said that they were going to be sent to meet her at the railway station.

他们说他们将被送到火车站去接她。

(3)come，go，leave，arrive，start等动词可用过去进行时代替过去将来时。

She told me she was coming to see me.

她告诉我她将来看望我。

We were informed that the leaders were coming to our school soon.

通知说领导们马上就会到我们学校。

(4)条件状语从句和时间状语从句中须用一般过去时代替过去将来时。

I didn't know when she would come but when she came I would let you know.

我不知道她什么时候会来，但是她来的时候我会让你知道。

The teacher said that it would be very difficult to make progress if I didn't work hard.

老师说，如果我不努力学习，将很难有进步。

(5)was/were to＋动词原形。

Li Lei was to arrive soon.

李磊很快就会到达。

(6)was/were about to＋动词原形。

He was about to leave when the bell rang.

他刚要离开，这时铃响了。
