Step1. Warming up and leading in.
Learn some new words by watching a video about people leaving hometown to work in cities and talking about some pictures. Then discuss the questions in 2a.
Step2. Predict(Fast-read)
1. Get the students to predict “What’s the passage mainly about?”
2. Read and check
Read the whole passage and find out “What’s the passage mainly about?”
A. Something about Zhao Wei
B. Changes in hometowns
C. People’s feeling of their hometown
Ask students to try to tell the way of finding it.
3.Read and match.
