本课是北师大版《初中英语》九年级第四单元，话题是“太空”。本课是本单元的第二课，在第一课介绍太空有关知识的基础上，以对话的形式，对中国的太空事业进行阐述。根据教材设置，首先要求学生要对对话中的内容有大概的了解，同时，根据对话中出现的人造卫星的名称，要求学生记录年份，最后进行知识输出。

Step1. Warm-up
1. Let students ask each ther abut the details abut Chinese space achievements.
2. Get students t lk at the pictures and figure ut the names f these satellites.
3. Take a lk at the picture and let students speak ut their knwledge at the Chinese Space Prgramme.
Step2. Listening
1. Listen t the radi prgramme and tick the things mentined in the listening in Ex. 2.
2. Listen t the tape, and fill in the timeline. Students shuld pay attentin t the numerical details in the material.
3. Listen and circle the crrect answers in Ex. 3. Students shuld underline the evidence crrespnding t their chice in the listening material.
4. Summarize the learned wrds and the infrmatin talked abut in the listening.
5. Read after the recrding.
Step3. Rle-play
Let students imagine they are a Chinese Scientist giving a speech t teenagers in America. Tell them abut China’s space prgramme.
Example:
Hell, everyne. My name is …. It’s very nice t be here. Tday I want t share with yu smething abut China’s space prgramme.
Step4. Cnslidatin
1. Teach the new phrases in the bx in Ex. 5. Attract students’ eyes t the wrd int.
