学生能够辩证地看待发明给人类带来的益处和问题。

课前准备
1.课前准备:调试光盘与课件、给学生分组、为学生布置预习作业等;
2.教具学具:光盘、大卡片等。
教学过程
Step1. Warm-up
1. Let students identify the inventins n the phts and discuss their benefits and harms. Encurage students t speak ut their reasns why they think s.
2. Let students make a preparatin fr an interview n “Inventins---Gd r bad?”.
Step2. Listening
1. Get students t listen t the material first time t btain speaker’s pinin n inventins.
2. Listen and write A fr Andrew r J fr Jenny t identify which statements belng t them, respectively.
3. Sum up each speaker’s pinins and write dwn them.
4. Let students justify whether their pinins are ratinal r nt.
5. Let students listen again and write T r F after the statements in Ex. 4.
6. Put the sentences in the prper places in their mind maps. Let students wrk in grups.
Step3. Grup wrk
Make an interview n “Inventins---Gd r bad?”
1. One grup chse a reprter wh interviews ther grup members, and a recrder wh take ntes f their ideas.
2. The thers answer the reprter’s questins, but they shuld use at least tw pieces f infrmatin frm the listening material.
3. Let students make ideas lgical.
4. Students will have 5 minutes t prepare.
5. Drift a cntrast table t represent the pinins f bth sides.
6. Students make reprts n “Inventins---gd r bad”.
