教学设计

一、教材分析：

       本节课所学内容是外研版小学英语三年级起点四年级下册Module 6 Unit2 Was it a big city then?本课主要谈论过去事物或人物的特征和状态。

二、学情分析：

小学四年级的学生已经具备了单词认读、有一定的阅读能力。在本课之前，学生已经在Unit 1学习了Were you at home yesterday?的句型。本课的重点就是让学生 能运用“was,were”询问过去的行为或事件。

三、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

（1）全体学生能听懂、会说 新单词：village.

（2）全体学生能理解、会说“Was it a big city then? Was it a big city then?”等句型。

2. 语言技能目标：

全体学生能听懂、会说Was it a big city then? Were you at home yesterday?”等句型。

四、教学重点：

培养学生用“was，were”的问句询问过去的事物或人物的特征和状态的能力。

五、教学难点

  培养学生合理运用 “was，were”的问句询问过去的事物或人物的特征和状态，并做出回答。

六、教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

1. Greeting each other as usual.

2. Chant  together.

3，sing an Englishi song <I was fat>

（课前问候，拉近师生的距离。通过chant回顾已学知识，激活学生已有的知识和能力,通过唱歌激发学生的学习兴趣。）

Step 2 Lead in

T: What’s the weather like today,is it cold? What’s the weather like yesterday,was it cold ? Was it sunny?

Ss： …

T: Now, let’look at the pictures, ask and answer.

   (用教学助手里的翻牌功能和转盘功能为学生提供图片及答语，让学生提问问句，如：Were you at home yesterday?Was it sunny? 培养学生用“was，were”的问句询问过去的事物或人物的特征和状态的能力)

Step 3 Presentation

Last Sunday ,Daming, Sam,Amy,Lingling were in different places,lets guess where were they?what was the wether like?

(让同学们带上Daming, Sam,Amy,Lingling的头饰，抽出两张地名和天气的图片，其他同学用Were you in……?Was it ……?句型来提问。)

Step 4Textlearn

1. Listen ,point,and repeat,then answer questions.

(1)          Was he strong then?

(2)          Where is lingling’s grandpa now?

(3)          Where waslingling’s grandpa then?

(4)          Is Shenzhen a big city now?

(5)          Was Shenzhen a big city then?

（让同学们带着问题听、跟读课文，并回答问题。）

2. Read the text by yourselves,fill blanks.

This is______,It ____a big city now,but it_____a big city then.it was a small__________then.shenzhen is very _________,but it _______famouse then.Lingling’s grandpa______in Shenzhen now,but he wasn’t _____Shenzhen then.

(用教学助手里的试题发送功能，让学生在平板电脑上完成。)

Step 5 Practise:

1. Look at the picture ,ask and answer:

A:Was it fat?

B:No,it wasn’t,it was thin.

……

Step 6 Sumary:

   出示学生现在的照片，让其他学生用was he……？句型猜测他以前的样子，老师用教学助手里橡皮擦功能擦除出他以前的照片，学生对他们自己的照片很感兴趣，谈论的很开心。

Step 6 拓展练习

让学生用Were you in……？Was it ……？句型小组练习谈论描述自己外出游玩的照片。
