Teaching aids: 多媒体,PPT Students’ preparation: CAI Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warming up 1 Free talk How many seasons are there in a year? What are they? How is the weather in spring/ summer/ autumn/ winter? What do we do in spring/ summer/ autumn/ winter? Which season do you like? … 2. Play a game: Magic eyes. Review the words and sentences about Story time. 3. Guessing game. Give Ss some short passages. Let Ss guess what season it is. 4. You did a good job. Let’s enjoy an English song. 5. Try to say. Look at the pictures and describe the four seasons. Answer the question: What can we do in winter? We can go skating. We can make snowmen too. So I like winter. And my friend Jerry likes winter too.(引入到fun time) Step 2 Fun time 1 Show the pictures. At the same time write the sentences. Show the short passage: I like winter.
