一、          教材内容和分析

本课通过真实的语境，希望工程视频的观看，引导学生体会到贫困地区孩子的困难以及她们求知的欲望，逐步理解并习得本课语言知识，能用How many bags do you have? We have seventy bags. 等语句交流，同时引导学生在观察、探索的过程中，逐步掌握这些语句的实际运用。教师借助生动的图片和多媒体课件，激发学生的学习兴趣，使学生在浓厚的学习氛围中，很自然地能听、说、认读单词seventy, eighty, 并能听、说、读、写四会单词book, bag。

二、          教学目标

1. 知识目标：

（1）能够听、说、读、写，并能在四线格中正确书写： bag，book。

（2）能听、说、认读单词：seventy， eighty。

（3）能用How many … do you have? We have ……. 并把词汇融入句子中进行学习巩固。

（4）能够听懂会说本课的对话，并能够在实际生活中进行简单的运用。

2. 能力目标：

通过本课的学习，引导学生逐步理解并习得本课语言知识，在此基础之上，引导学生在自主的前提下，巩固所学知识的同时培养学生灵活运用语言的能力。

3. 情感目标：

学会关心他人，懂得他人的疾苦，积极帮助需要帮助的人。

4.教学重点：

（1）能够听、说、读、写，并能在四线格中正确书写： bag，book。

（2）能听、说、认读单词：seventy， eighty。

（3）能用How many … do you have? We have ……. 并把词汇融入句子中进行学习巩固；。

5.教学难点

  （1）单词everyone 的读音

（2）会说句子Let’s help children in need.

三、     教学过程

Step one Warming-up

Free talk

T: (1) How many students are there in your class?

  (2) How many boys?

  (3) How many girls?

  (4) How many teachers are there in your school?

Step Two Presentation

1. Look at the screen. Let’s watch a video. “ PROJECT HOPE”

T: How many teachers are there in their school?

Teacher answers “Only one. There is only one teacher to teach them knowledge, Such as Chinese, Maths, Science, PE, and Morality and so on. Only one teacher. The students don’t have new books. They don’t have any pens, rulers, bags and any other school things. But they hope to go to school. They want to learn knowledge, they want to read books. So children, what shall we do? Let’s help children in need.

2. Teacher teaches the four-skilled words “bag, book” and the three-skilled words “seventy, eighty”

T: How can we help them? (Lead students to say out donating things.)

We can donate some school things to them.

Look, Li Yan and her classmates are donating their school things to the children in need. Please think about this question! “What to they bring?” Let’s have a look！

T: What do they bring?

S1: Bags. （板书，拼写，小组读）

T: How many bags?

S2: Seventy.

(If the students can not say, let them open their books and find out the keys. And the teacher read the sentences as an example, meanwhile write them on the blackboard.)

T: How many bags do you have? We have seventy bags. （板书，操练，小组问答）

T: What else do they bring?

S3: Books.

T: How many books do they have?

S4: They have Eighty books. （教学方式同seventy）

3. Practise the dialogue.

T: Please read the dialogue after the video.

Step Three Practice

Chant

T: Look, look, look!

  We have seventy bags.

Step Four Additional activities

1. Free talk.

T: Li Yan and her classmates donated their books and bags. What shall we do? What will you donate?

(Let students say out something about learning. E.g. school things, clothes, bike, etc.)

2. Make up a new dialogue.

Pen, pencil, shoes, ruler, eraser, markers, storybooks, exercise books

Frame:

S1: Hello, everyone. Let’s help children in need.

S2: How many… do you have?

S3: We have…….

S4: How many… do you have?

S5: We have……

Step Five Conclusion

T: OK, everyone. Today we had a significant lesson. We help children in need. We donate our books and bags. How many bags do you have? We have seventy bags. How many books do you have? We have eighty books. We want children can go to school to learn happily. You are wonderful! Well-done!
