课题内容简介：

《精通英语》四年级下册 Unit 4 Lesson 19 是以谈论一周七天为话题的课文，引导学生能够运用目标语言对一周的天数进行问答。并且从对一周第一天the first day of the week的问答中，初步了解中西方文化背景的差异。

一 、教学目标分解

1. 学生能够根据教师提供的日历听、说、认读单词day, week, Sunday；掌握四会单词day和 Sunday,并在四线格内正确书写。通过教师板书和讲解知道一周七天属于专有名词，书写时首字母要求大写。

2.学生通过chant game ,chain game和passing game学会功能语句：How many days are there in a week? There are seven。并能够使用功能性语句连续问答。

3.巩固 How many…？” “There are...”目标语言结构，将目标语言的应用扩大到生活当中，将学过的词汇滚动练习，以旧带新，强化how many的数量提问功能和问答中There be存在关系的对应。

二、内容分析

1. 教学重点：

听、说、认读单词day, week, Sunday；掌握四会单词day和 Sunday,并在四线格内正确书写。

学说chant,让学生在欢快的节奏中加深对本课内容的理解与掌握。

2. 教学难点：在Chain Game的语言环境中，结合星期的话题交际运用How many days are there in a week? There are seven.

因此在教学设计时从学生的学习兴趣出发，采用小组合作的学习方式。让学生在小组活动中，通过唱、做、写、说、演等多种手段学习和使用英语，完成学习任务，最后达到落实教学重点、突破教学难点，并使学生在学习活动过程中培养综合语言运用能力。

三、学情分析

1. 学生年龄特点

本课的授课对象是小学四年级的学生，他们从三年级开始学习本套教材。自己在与学生一年多时间接触的过程中，有意识地培养了他们一些日常生活的交际用语，大多数学生都具有一定的自主学习能力和语言运用能力。

2. 学生知识经验

本单元的语言结构相对独立，在新版英语教材的前三册从未出现过星期的知识，没有经过任何的语言铺垫；本课又是单元的起始课，单词长、易混淆。因此学生学习起来有些难度。

四、教学过程

在设计教学中我以“快乐学习日”为主线，正确运用Lesson19中的语言知识，设计了“互致问候，导入主题”创设情景，引导参与 “ 特定游戏，激发兴趣” “自主创造，合作互补”“效果反馈，小结评价”“巧设作业，课后延伸”六个环节，各环节紧密联系，每环节都为下一个环节做好铺垫。

Step 1   Warm-up

1. Greetings

设计意图：以竞赛的形式复习How many…,There are…句型，可以快速稳定学生的情绪，复习所学语句 ，为新授课做铺垫。

设计意图：朗诵和星期有关的英语诗歌，导入新课。

Step 2  Presentation

2. Passing game time.

T: OK, class. Let’s play a passing game. When you hear the music, pass the box. When the music stop, the student get the box choose a card in the box and answer the questions.

3.T:Excellent! On the second Sunday of May is mother's day every year. This day, we should say to our mother: Happy Mother’s Day.

3. 观看并学说本课chant,巩固所学新知。

T: Excellent. Listen !  A nice chant.

S: Say a chant.

(教师带领学生们说本课英语歌谣，学生的注意力又一次集中到电脑大屏幕中，将刚才发散的思维集中于一点使学生明确本课的教学重点。)

Step 3  Practice

1. Activity：Quick answer game (倒计时读句子)

设计意图: 学生在激烈紧张的竞答游戏中习得语言，训练综合语言运用能力和语言交际能力。

2. 呈现电脑课件,引导学生捕捉信息,学习本课对话。

通过课件展示课文对话，学生整体感知课文。

3. 语言运用。针对本课内容，教师提供Langue Focus,进行语言拓展。

小组合作汇报,将所学知识与现实生活紧密相连，体验学习英语的快乐。

T: Today’s homework: Three stars: Write down a dialogue about your Sunday life;  Two starts: Make up a new dialogue with langue focus. One start: Act the dialogue of L19 in pairs.

S: 学生根据教师安排的分层作业选择适合自己的作业巩固所学知识并适当拓展提高。
