《译林新教材五下》Unit 6 In the kitchen (Grammar time & Checkout time)
二、教学目标:
1. 四会句型Are you/they doing…? 及其回答Yes, I am./they are.No, I’m not./
they aren’t. Is he/she doing…? 及其回答Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.
2. 能理解并掌握特殊名词变复数的用法及规则。
三、教学重难点:
1.能熟练运用句型现在进行时态的一般疑问句进行对话。
2.能理解并掌握特殊名词变复数的用法及规则。
3.能完成Fun time和checkout time 中的任务。
四、教学准备: PPT ,平板电脑
五、教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
1. Game time:
T: Do you like playing games? Let’s play a game.
Tips:看到单词或词组,大声快速朗读;看到拍手图片,就拍手2次。最后定格在图片kitchen.
【设计意图】在学习新课前,教师利用游戏这种形式聚焦了与本课相关的主题和背景。学生通过游戏了解本课学习的食物,饮料类单词和家务词组,一下子把本单元的单复数单词和家务词组凸显出来,紧扣了主题,最后定格在图片kitchen。过渡到Story time,课文的复习显得顺理成章。同时这活动是学生们喜闻乐见的形式,从课前就紧紧抓住了学生的注意力,激发了学生往下学习的欲望。

【设计意图】通过看图,选择让学生用英语提问和回答,复习正在进行时,也为一般疑问句做铺垫,复习回忆课文的同时培养学生用英语读题的能力,
Step 2 Presentation
T: Well done, you can retell well. Liu Tao and his parents have a nice dinner. Today, Miss Li and her students have a big dinner too. But they should make it by themselves(他们自己).What should they do ?They should finish three steps:step1 shopping time,step2 cooking time, step 3 sharing time.
【设计意图】通过设计一条主线买,烧,分享这三个情境来更好的学习单复数名词和不可数名词,以及正在进行时的一般疑问句,在情境中学习和运用英语。
(一)Shopping time
1). Game 1: Buy in the supermarket
T: First, let’s go shopping. Look at the pictures and say out loudly. Ready?
(看图,分别说出各类食物的英文表达。)
小提示:快速地说出你看到并想要的食物, 果蔬和饮料。
2). Game 2: Put in the fridge T: Look,we have a lot of food now. Let’s help him to put them in the kitchen. We should depart them.
Eg:some bread,on the left; some eggs,on the right
(左边放不可数,右边放可数的)
小提示:快速地将食物分类。(注意不可数和可数的表达)
3). Game3:Let’s say “There be …”
What’s in the fridge? Do you remember what are they?引导学生用There is/are….句型猜测回答,提醒注意单复数形式。

4). Grammar: Can you say? there be句型的用法。
There is 后面跟可数名词单数或不可数名词。There are后面跟可数名词复数。some 既可以修饰不可数名词,也可以修饰可数名词。
Tips: 以o结尾的一些名词+es: 如: potatoes, tomatoes, mangoes
5). Checkout time (Look and write)
1.There is meat in the fridge.
2.There is fish in the fridge.
3.There are bananas in the fridge.
4.There are oranges in the fridge.
5.There in the fridge.
6.There in the fridge.
7.There in the fridge.
8.There in the fridge.
9.There in the fridge.
6) Ticking time: I can name some food; I can use “some” correctly.
【设计意图】利用游戏买水果来快速复习本单元相关的单词,在分类游戏中学习不可数名词和可数名词复数。在Let’s say中学习There be 句型并让学生自己观察归纳,最后落实到笔头写一写。这样的设计层次分明,有简到难的教学,体现了教学层次性,并利于ticking time自我检测。
(二) Cooking time
T:Now, the children are all helping in the kitchen.
1). Game 1: Judge yes or no. (Look at the picture. Thirty minutes to remember.) 小提示:认真观察图片,在30秒内记住每个人在做的事,要回答问题哦!
Q1: Is Liu Tao cooking meat?
Q2: Is Yang Ling cooking some vegetables?
Q3: Is Wang Bing cooking fish?
Q4: Are Su Hai and Su Yang making salads?
(根据问题一一回答问题)
2).Game2:比一比,测一测,谁的语音语调最棒!(学生在平板上自测一般疑问句的朗读。)
3). Ask and answer: Checkout time (同桌操练对话,然后任选一幅图展示,注意一般
疑问句的正确表达以及正确的语音语调。)
S1: Is …? S2: Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.
S2: Are …? S1: Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.
4). Grammar time: 学生归纳现在进行时一般疑问句的结构。
Be动词+主语+现在分词+其他部分?回答:Yes,主语+be.No,主语+be not.
【设计意图】在游戏Yes or No,look and guess,测一测中学习和巩固正在进行时的一般疑问句,不仅将句型学习巩固和游戏相结合,激发学生学习的兴趣。更突出学生的主体性,很好的提高学生的英语学习能力,对于学生语言学习的长远发展具有战略意义。在学习中学生自己归纳现在进行时的一般疑问句的结构。
(三Q) Sharing time
