分析广东近几年的中考真题可知,动词(短语)为每年的必考点,主要出现在完形填空和短文填空中。
动词的基本知识一、动词的形式
【提示:不规则动词变化形式详见《早读材料》P63】
二、及物动词和不及物动词实义动词是表示动作或状态的词,有实际含义,能独立作谓语,根据其后可否直接跟宾语,可以分为及物动词(vt.)和不及物动词(vi.)。

系动词和助动词一、系动词 系动词本身有词义,但不能独立作谓语,后面必须接表语,构成系表结构,说明主语的性质、状态、身份或特征。其分类及用法如下:
二、助动词助动词本身无意义或意义不完整,不能独立作谓语。它需与别的动词连用,帮助构成各种时态、语态、否定句和疑问句等。常用的助动词有be, have/has/had, d/des/did, will和shall等。如:He is drawing in the rm. 他在房间里画画。The tree was planted by my mther. 这棵树是我妈妈种的。

情态动词
拓展:(1)be able t表示能力,意为“能,会”,与can一样。但是be able t有人称、数的变化,可以用在各种时态中。如:She is able t write a reprt. 她能书写报告。(2)have t表示客观需要,意为“不得不;必须”,有人称、时态和数的变化,后跟动词原形。如:He had t stay at hme because f the heavy rain. 由于大雨他不得不待在家里。
(3)wuld表示意愿,常用在“Wuld yu like…?”结构中。如:Wuld yu like smething t eat? 你想吃点什么吗?(4)will表示请求、征求意见,用在第二人称的疑问句中。如:Will yu meet me at the airprt? 你到机场接我好吗?(5)need意为“需要”,作情态动词时,常用于疑问句和否定句中。其引导的一般疑问句,肯定回答用must,否定回答用needn’t。—Need I stay in hspital? 我必须住院吗?—Yes, yu must. 是的,你必须住院。(说明病得严重)—N, yu needn’t. 不,你没必要住院。(小问题不需要住院)

动词短语1.常见的动词短语分类
Tip: 对于“动词+副词”型短语,其宾语若是名词,放在二者之间或副词之后均可;其宾语若是人称代词,一定要放在二者之间,且用宾格。

一、动词(短语)在完形填空中的运用分析广东近五年的中考完形填空可知,动词考查了17次(2021年4次:41.lking fr, 47.prtect, 48.encuraging, 49.see; 2020年2次: 42.asked fr, 49.refused; 2019年4次: 46.agree, 48.went away, 50.asked fr, 55.realize; 2018年4次: 47.fill, 49.carry ut, 50.set ff, 53.describe; 2017年3次:50.builds, 52.take the place f, 54.jin in)。完形填空主要考查实义动词的词义辨析,针对该考点,考生需要根据句式结构和上下文语境或固定搭配,并结合选项的词义辨析来确定答案。

二、动词(短语)在短文填空中的运用分析广东近五年的中考短文填空可知,动词考查了9次(2021年3次: 68.call, 69.wrked, 71.written; 2020年2次: 68.wear, 72.set; 2019年1次: 77.take; 2018年2次: 73.were, 78.cheered; 2017年1次: 74.sits)。针对该考点,考生需要根据句式结构和上下文语境或固定搭配判断所填的词是动词,并结合时态、动词前是否有动词不定式符号t或情态动词等确定所填动词的正确形式。
1.上下文判断法解析:由空前“His Chinese friends”和空后的“him ‘La Pan'”可以判断,空处需要一个动词。由上文“他的中文名字是潘威廉”可知,“老潘”是他的中国朋友对他的称呼,换句话说,他的中国朋友“称”他为老潘。call sb. sth.意为“称呼某人……”,这里用来叙述客观情况,所以用一般现在时。主语“His Chinese friends”是复数,故空处填call的原形。故填call。
2.固定搭配解析:由空后的“as a teacher”可推测出,老潘应该是在一所大学里“当”老师。wrk as+职业,表示“作为……”。and连接两个并列谓语,其时态和人称保持一致,came为过去式,所以空处也应用wrk的过去式wrked。故填wrked。
