Step 1: Lead-in Greet the class with a smile and review the knowledge of last lesson. Divide the students into two groups. One group of students acts as an interviewer and the other group acts as Scott. Ask them to role-play the conversation in 2d. Invite some students to the front of the classroom. The teacher will ask questions and the students will answer these questions. T:What time do you usually get up? S1:I usually get up at .... S2:I usually get up at .... S3:I usually get up at .... T:What time do you usually have breakfast? S1:I usually have breakfast at .... S2:I usually have breakfast at .... S3:I usually have breakfast at .... Help the students answer these questions and then evaluate the answers. Step 2:Presentation Play PPT and show these sentences in Grammar Focus. Ask students to read these sentences aloud five times. After reading, ask students to discuss how to translate these sentences, then complete these exercises: (1)-你一般什么时候吃午饭? ____________________(翻译) -我一般11点30分吃午饭。 ____________________(翻译) (2)-你和小华什么时候写作业? ____________________(翻译) -我们总是8点写作业。 ____________________(翻译) (3)-你什么时候打球? ____________________(翻译) -我从不打球。 ____________________(翻译) (4)-王强什么时候去逛街? ____________________(翻译) -他一般3点去逛街。 ____________________(翻译) Check the correct answer. Explain the following grammar to the students, and make sure all students understand this knowledge then help them fill in the blanks below.

usually_______ never_________ always________ Check answers with the whole class. Step 3:Practice (1)Look at these sentences in 3a, ask the students to write answers or questions. Students can use usually, never or always. After 5 minutes, the teacher checks the correct answer. (2)Think about your own situation: Something you always do, something you usually do and something you never do. Write these things in the box. (3)Divide the students into groups of four. Each person will take turns as an interviewer to interview the other three people and find out what time they do these activities, then give a report to the class.
