Teaching goals:
1. 会读并能听懂下列单词: steal, necklace, theft, jewellery
理解并能运用句型 :
Bruce gets along with all of his neighbours except the man who lives next door.
Bruce found a gold necklace outside the door.
2. 能够句子和图片配对,并完成一则故事。
3. 能够根据图片及相关描述,编写一则侦探故事或续写故事的结尾。
Individual self-study:
1. 呈现P118页A部分图片,口头描述图片内容。
2. 观察四幅图,完成A部分练习,朗读句子,核对答案。
3. 根据图片回答问题。
⑴ What did Bruce find one day?
⑵ What did he plan to do with it?
⑶ Did a witness see Bruce running into the building?
⑷ Was Bruce charged with murder?
4. 根据A部分信息,完成B部分练习。
5. 核对答案,集体朗读短文。
6. 两人一组,观察P119页C部分图片,讨论从图片中能看到什么 。
7. 根据图片回答问题。
⑴ Who do you think was murdered--- a man or woman?
⑵ What were the young couple doing?
⑶ How was he killed?
⑷ What will the policeman do?
⑸ Who do you think is guilty?
The group cooperation:
1. 四人一组,大胆设想,详细记录,如:案发时间和地点、目击者的作证、犯罪嫌疑人的身份。

Exercise testing:
根据小组讨论的案发到破案的经过,写一个侦探故事。
After class to consolidate:
