Beijing is the capital of China.It's famous for its long history,delicious food and places of interest,such as Beijing Duck,Tian'anmen Square,the Palace Museum,the Summer Palace and so on.Have you ever been to Beijing?

设计意图:通过老师的介绍及图片的直观展示,让学生对北京有一个大致的了解,吸引学生的眼球,激发他们的课堂参与积极性,活跃课堂气氛。
环节2 学习 3a-4
1.让学生观察3a的几张图片,说出图片中的地点名称,然后朗读3a方框中的词汇,掌握其含义。
2.让学生在图片中选择一个感兴趣的地点,借助方框内的词汇,完成日记。
3.让学生就自身的一次旅行经历回答3b中的问题,并做好笔记。
4.结对练习。假设大家都是来中国旅行的外国人,模拟大家在机场谈论各自在中国游玩期间所做的事情。
5. 挑选两三组学生当堂表演对话。
6.让学生课后就3b的笔记写一篇如第5页上Jane一样的旅行日记。
7.范文展示。
My Wonderful Vacation
Last Sunday,I went to Qingdao with my parents.We went there by train.I loved it at once as soon as I went into the city.The weather there was fine and cool.We went to the beautiful beaches.We had great fun playing in the water.For dinner,we ate a lot of seafood and they are my favourite.There were many big shops in Qingdao.We went shopping and bought nice gifts for my friends.For example,two key rings and a model dolphin.Everything there is very wonderful.I had a great time in Qingdao.
设计意图:培养学生综合运用所学知识描写旅行经历的能力;然后通过结对练习,巩固其对一般过去时、描述性形容词的掌握,鼓励学生大胆开口,学了就说;最后的范文展示,让学生具体了解这类写作的框架结构。
环节3 学习 Self Check
1.让学生浏览1左边方框中的复合不定代词,回顾其用法。
2.让学生浏览1右边方框中的5段对话,掌握其大意,然后用左边的复合不定代词补全对话。
3.学生两两一组,表演对话。
4.让学生浏览2中的短文,掌握其大意,然后用方框中所给词的适当形式填空(尤其要注意时态)。
5.要点点拨。
(1)Why not?
Why not?在课本中用来询问原因,有时表示一种不可理解的心情。例:—I didn't go to Mary's birthday party last night.我昨晚没去玛丽的生日聚会。—Why not?为什么没去呢?
【拓展】Why not?的其他用法:
①用来表示赞同,意为“好的,为什么不可以呢?”例:—What about going to the cinema this afternoon?下午去看电影怎么样?—Why not?好的。
②表示建议或命令,常构成“Why not do sth.?”句式,意为“何不做某事呢?”相当于Why don't you do sth.?
(2)My legs were so tired that I wanted to stop.
本句包含so...that...(如此……以至于……)结构,so后接形容词或副词原级,that引导结果状语从句。它可以与too...to结构进行同义句转换。
6.学以致用。(同义句转换,一空一词)
(1)Why not discover what you enjoy and do that?
Why don't you discover what you enjoy and do that?
(2)I am so tired that I can't move on.
I am too tired to move on.
设计意图:让学生在练习训练和语言实践中巩固复合不定代词和一般过去时的用法。
