Want t imprve yur math skills withut wrking hard? Simply zap (击打) the brain with a weak current f electricity and then, all yur prblems will be slved! At least that's the claim being made by a team f British scientists frm Lndn's Oxfrd University.
The main aim f the experiment, cnducted n a grup f student vlunteers frm Oxfrd University and University Cllege Lndn, was t test if parts f the brain culd be shcked int getting it t wrk better with numbers.
T test this, 15 students, divided int three grups, were asked t slve the same tw mathematical prblems every day fr a week. The prblems, which invlved identifying the larger f tw numbers and pltting ne n a number line, were made a little mre challenging by replacing the numbers 19 with symbls.
Hwever, befre starting the test, tw f the grups were subjected t a 20minute sessin f a light electric current t the parietal lbe, which the scientists believe is the brain's number cruncher (能迅速运算者). Fr the first grup the current flw was passed right t left, while fr the secnd it was transmitted left t right. The third grup received n help at all.
The grup that gt zapped right t left seemed t shw an amazing imprvement in their math skills. Hwever, the nes that gt zapped left t right were reduced t the level f almst sixyear lds! The results fr the peple wh gt n help were smewhere in between.
While scientists are nt sure why the directin f the current wuld make such a difference, they believe that zapping it frm the right side, seemed t turn up the activity f the brain cells t math, while ging the ther way turned r clsed them dwn. Luckily, the impact is expected t last fr nly six mnths!
While this is great news, d nt fire yur math tutr yet. That's because the research, n matter hw successful, is nt being dne t aid lazy students, but t help peple wh suffer frm dyscalculia (计算障碍), a disease which makes peple unable t cpe with simple daytday numerical issues, like cunting change r figuring ut their expenses.

27.It can be inferred frm the third paragraph that the authr believes________.

    C.create a new nline name

    D.a way t learn t be a mther
