Ask students who invented TV. Then
1. Give some information about TV. It was made by John Logie Baird .Ask where are the programmes made? To present the word “studio”
Explain that after the programmes are made, the workers in the studio station send out the programmes to the audience far away. Explain send out means broadcast.
Step 4 Welcome to the unit
1 Teacher says, Eddie and Hobo are our old friends, they are also comic characters ,cartoon Characters, listen what they are talking about. Teacher asks some questions about the conversation. (Show them on the screen if possible.)
What does Hobo ask Eddie to do? What will Eddie do ?
2. Play the recorder again. Let the students read after the tape. And try to repeat.
