【过程与方法】
教师展示几张人们正在进行不同活动的图片或播放人们正在进行不同工作的短视频,同时说“I am teaching English nw.”,然后询问学生们正在进行的事情并让学生相互之间问答,增强学生的参与性。
【情感、态度与价值观】
通过对本课的学习活动,能培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。
教学重难点
【教学重点】
(1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作;
(2 ) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: ding hmewrk, using the cmputer, watching TV, eating dinner… 等。
【教学难点】
现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

教学过程
Step 1 Greeting and Lead in
1. Greet the Ss.
2. Watch a vide prgram.
Step 2 Presentatin
1. Shw sme pictures n the big screen. Present the new wrds and expressins.
2. Ss watch and learn the new wrds and expressins.
3. Give Ss sme time and try t remember the new wrds and expressins.
4. (Shw sme pictures n the screen and ask sme students t perfrm the actins.)
e.g. T: What are yu ding?
S: I am ding hmewrk. (Help him/her t answer)
T: What is he /she ding?
Ss: He /she is ding hmewrk.
Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a bk, eating dinner, talking n the the same way.
5. Wrk n 1a. Ss read the activities and lk at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures.
6. Check the answers with the Ss.
Step 3 Game
1. T: Nw let's play a game. What's she/he ding? Yu must watch the big screen carefully.
(Shw sme pictures n the big screen quickly) Let Ss guess what's he/she is ding?
2. Ss watch and guess the actins.
3. Ask and answer abut the pictures.
—What's he/she ding?
—He's/She's …
Step 4 Listening
1. T: What are Jenny, Jhn, Dave and Mary ding? Nw let’s listen t the tape, find ut the right activities frm 1a.
2. Play the recrding fr the Ss twice.
3. Ss listen t the recrding and write the numbers frm 1a.
Step 5 Pair wrk
1. Ask the Ss t read the cnversatins in 1c with a partner. Then lk at the pictures in 1a. And cnversatins abut ther persn in the picture.
2. Ss make cnversatins by themselves and practice the cnversatins.
Step 6 Listening
1. Wrk n 2a;
T: Jack and Steve are talking n the phne. What are they ding nw? Listen t the cnversatins and match the answers with the questins.
(Play the recrding fr the first time, students nly listen carefully. Then, listen t the recrding again, and match the answers with the questins. )
Check the answers.
2. Wrk n 2b.
Let Ss read the cnversatin in 2b first. Then play the recrding fr the Ss twice.
The first time Ss nly listen and write dwn the wrds in the blanks. Then play the recrding again fr the Ss t check the answers. (If necessary, press the Pause buttn t help.)
Step 7 Rle play the cnversatin
