让学生观察图片、题目并预测本篇的主旨大意：

【设计意图】通过Predictin活动，让学生养成一种良好的阅读习惯，善于利用书面语篇中的标题、插图为阅读理解提供方向和信息。
活动二：Read fr general understanding
1. Skimming.（Activity2，P62）
引导学生找主题句并用自己的话转述。

【设计意图】通过预测、总结自然段大意、跳读等阅读披巧，学生的阅读抆能得到提升。为了让学生能够更好地把握语篇的结构特点，引导学生从寻找主题句和表时间的词语两方面分析语篇。通过这两个活动，可以实现《课标》中提出的目标，即通过阅读，学生能从语篇中提取主要信息和主要观点，并且能够理解语篇的主要要义。

Chinese calligraphy has develped alng with China civilisatin. It is difficult t say when exactly calligraphy started. Chinese writing was first dne by carving symbls nt bnes and shells, but as it develped int a writing system, it als develped as a frm f art dne with a brush. It is believed that Chinese calligraphy dates back t at least the Han Dynasty (202 BCE—220 CE). Sn after that, the idea develped that calligraphy was nt nly a beautiful art frm but als a means f shwing the character f the "man behind the brush". Tday, anyne frm small children t ld peple can enjy practising the classic art f Chinese calligraphy.
