Yur students need t be able t ask what they dn’t understand when thers talk t them. This lessn shuld be practiced all the time with ther lessns in class. By the end f the lessn, yur students will be able t ask fr clarificatin when they dn't understand smething.

Suggestins:
Warm-up:Use the handut f Peple Talking. Talk abut wrds they use at wrk when they dn't understand smething.
Use the handut Wrds I Can Use and write the phrases n the bard:Excuse me? Can yu repeat that? Pardn? What was that? One mre time please. Again? Have students practice prnunciatin with these wrds. Keep these wrds n the bard thrughut the class.
Remind students that thrughut the lessns, they shuld be able t practice these wrds when they dn't understand smething. Fr the next lessn, in the beginning f the class, put these wrds n the bard again. Students shuld be able t use them in class. This will get them used t saying these wrds when they dn't understand.
