My jyful Lantern Festival Lantern festival, ne f the mst significant Chinese traditinal festivals, falls n the fifteenth day f the first lunar mnth, usually in February r March. It features ceans f lanterns fr peple t appreciate and riddles n lanterns fr peple t slve. I still remember my mst jyful Lantern festival when I was 10.On that Lantern festival night, I set ff t the lcal plaza t jin the riddle-guessing cntest. All alng the way, I saw peple frm near and far packing the street in a buzz f excitement. Sme were stretching themselves n their tiptes t see the lantern parade including lin dancing and lanterns in numerus fancy shapes. Others were chatting r taking phts t recrd this unfrgettable mment.
My jyful Lantern Festival As fr me, the riddle-guessing cntest is the mst thrilling part. Riddles are written dwn and psted n each lantern by the wners. If anyne has the slutin t the riddle, they are given the pprtunity t present their answer t the lantern wner t see if it is right. If crrect, the persn is given a gift fr his r her hard wrk. My jurney there was ttally wrth it because I slved 6 riddles that night and wn a delicate ty car fr myself. On back hme, my mther feasted me with a bwl f muthwatering Yuanxia, which represented unity, happiness and harmny amng family members. It was amazing t have such a jyful Lantern Festival experience with my family and I will recmmend anyne travelling t China t experience it!
