Unit 3 RobotsIntegrated skills & Study skills 设计说明由学生学过的The fashion show导入本单元的话题,向学生介绍International Robot Show。引导学生阅读回答问题并完成A1部分的空格,然后帮助学生初步熟悉听力内容,降低听力难度,培养学生根据阅读材料获取信息和处理信息的能力。以A1部分剩余空格引导学生进行听前预测,激发学生了解更多信息的兴趣,培养学生听前预测的能力。创设情境,引导学生结合实际自编对话,以促进学生互动学习,提高实际运用英语的能力。然后通过展示,让学生初步了解英式英语和美式英语的不同之处并改写句子。教学目标通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标掌握词汇:customer, hold, through, put through 2.能力目标(1)从阅读和听力录音中获取信息,完成关于机器人展的笔记;(2)补全一封电子邮件;(3)谈论机器人能做的事情;(4)了解英式英语和美式英语的区别。3.情感目标从正面正确看待智能机器人的问题。重点难点1. 重点:从阅读和听力录音中获取信息完成练习并讨论机器人出故障时的解决方案。2. 难点:对不同种类的机器人发表自己的看法。教学准备PPT课件;相关图片授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1 Lead-inA The robot showAsk students to have a free talk.Students have learnt a lot about a fashion show in Grade Seven. Ask students to talk about its date, place, ticket price and so on. Then introduce the robot show to them. Step 2 Presentation 1. Read and answer.Ask students to read Daniel’s notes, then answer some questions to know more about the robot show.Notes: Questions: (1)When and where will the show be held? (2)What time does the show begin and finish? (3)What is the price of the ticket?(4)What will you get if you go to the robot show on the first day?Answers: (1)At the town hall from 14th to 22nd March.
