一、教学目标

1. 掌握重点词汇：robot, post, brain, whatever, explore, outer space, put out fires

2. 掌握重点句型：

3. 通过听，获取Eddie和Hobo的对话内容，学会用英语谈论机器人的用途。

Task 1

Step1 Warming-up

Guide Ss to have a free talk.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Guide Ss to look at Hobo and Eddie’s picture and answer the question.

【设计意图】通过图片呈现，引导学生看图片并回答问题，激发学生的学习兴趣。

2. Guide Ss to listen and answer the questions.

【设计意图】通过听录音并回答问题，帮助学生验证预测，整体感知对话，并获取细节信息。

Step 3 Practice

1. Guide Ss to listen and read.

【设计意图】通过听录音并读对话，尽量模仿Hobo和Eddie在对话中的语音语调，帮助学生巩固漫画内容。

2. Get Ss to read Hobo and Eddie’s conversation and act it out.

【设计意图】通过听读，帮助学生进一步熟悉Hobo和Eddie漫画的内容，并把握Hobo和Eddie的性格、情绪等细节。通过表演对话的形式，帮助学生内化目标语言和关键信息。

3. Guide Ss to complete the passage according to comic strip.
