    英语八年级下册Section A教学设计

    本节课为听说课。主要通过“What are sme f the special places/things in yur hmetwn? ”问句引出话题:谈论家乡的特色。首先运用“头脑风暴”形式复习所学过的有关地点的名词。然后让学生写句子来描述一下自己家乡的一些特色建筑或地方,帮助学生了解和运用重点句子,如:It has been there fr hundreds f years. It’s been arund fr as lng as I can remember. 等。通过听力练习,完成1b,1c部分,并让学生运用1b和1c的信息完成一篇短文填空练习。最后通过小组调查活动来了解家乡的特色建筑或地方,完成该课时的教学目标。

    掌握句型:①It’s full f interesting places t see and things t d. ②It’s been arund fr as lng as I can remember. ③It’s been arund fr at least 20 years.
    2. 能力目标
    能运用现在完成时谈论自己周围事物的变化情况。
    3. 情感目标
    通过谈论家乡有特色的地方,增进对家乡的了解,从而更热爱家乡。
    重点难点
    1. 重点:
    (1)掌握本课时出现的句型及表达方式。
    (2)进行听说训练,提高综合听说能力。
    2. 难点:
    运用现在完成时谈论自己周围环境的变化情况。
    教学准备
    录音机和磁带、调查表格。
    教学过程
    Step 1 Revisin & Warming up
    1. Check the hmewrk. Ask students t retell the article in Sectin A 3a.
    2. Say:It seems difficult fr us t part with the ld things we have had fr a lng time. But what abut ur neighbrhd r the city we have lived fr a lng time? I think there must be sme ld buildings and places in yur neighbrhd. What are they? Can yu name sme?
    Shw students the fllwing table and ask them t find ut sme places.
    Answers:Acrss:bridge,z,museum,library;
    Dwn:bank,park,river,hill
    3. Play brainstrming(头脑风暴):Write dwn the names f places.
    Ask students t write dwn the names f places as many as they can. Then read them tgether.
    Cmplete the sentences with the crrect wrds in the bx.
    1. We crssed the bridge ver the river.
    2. There is a large library in the British Museum.
    3. —Wh’s the girl standing behind Jane?
    —She is her sister,Jenny.
    4. Frm the hill yu can see mst f the city n a clear day.
    Step 2 Practice
    Wrk n 1a.
    1. Talk abut their hmetwns. Fr example:Are there any ld shps r buildings arund yur hme r schl? Encurage students t write sme sentences t describe their hmetwns.

    (2)There have been there since...
    2. Check the places r things they can find in their twns r cities.
    The answers will vary.
    Step 3 Listening
    Wrk n 1b and 1c.
    1. Befre listening,ask students t lk thrugh 1b and 1c and predict:What are Martin and Jenny talking abut?
    2. Play the recrder fr the first time and let students write the answers t the questins in 1b. Then check them.
    Answers:1. Yes,he des. 2. N,she desn’t.
    3. A big park. Peple g there t let the kids run arund and climb the hills.
    3. Play the recrder again and write“new”r“ld”in the secnd clumn f the chart in 1c.
    4. Listen again and fill in the third clumn f the chart in 1c.
    5. Check the answers in class,and then explain sme imprtant r lng sentences t the students.

    6. Ask students t lk at the listening material. Listen and repeat.
    7. Cmplete the article accrding t 1b and 1c.
    Jenny has been away frm her hmetwn fr the past few years,but she still lves her hmetwn. The twn library is ne f the ldest buildings in the twn. It’s been arund fr hundreds f years. The building next t it is the new science museum. It’s nly been here since last August. There’s a really big park behind the museum. Many families g there n weekends t let the kids run arund and climb the hills. There is a restaurant dwn the street. It has been arund fr as lng as Jenny can remember. It serves the best fd in twn.
    Step 4 Practice
    1. Ask students t read the cnversatin in 1d.
    2. Ask students t make their wn cnversatins.
    3. Ask sme pairs t act ut their cnversatins in frnt f the class.
    Step 5 Grup wrk
    1. Make a survey. Wrk in grups f fur t fill in the chart abut their hmetwns.
    (Useful sentences:What are sme f the special places/things in yur hmetwn? Hw lng has it been there?)
    The chart is like this:

    Fr example,in Li Lei’s hmetwn there is an ld building. It’s a mvie theater. It has been there fr abut ne hundred years...
    Step 6 Cperative inquiry
    Discuss the fllwing language pints in grups and fill in the blanks.
    1. Even thugh it’s ld,it’s full f interesting places t see and things t d. 虽然它很古老,但是那里有很多有趣的地方可以看,有很多事情可以做。
    在该句中,不定式t see 和t d 作定语,分别修饰名词places和 things。类似的句子还有:
