The Chinese paddlefish(白鲟)—ne f the wrld's largest freshwater fish—has been annunced extinct. Scientists say the paddlefish, als called the Chinese swrdfish, is believed t have a lineage dating back at least 34 millin years. With its lng nse and muth, the paddlefish culd grw as lng as seven meters.
