Recently, a digital prtectin prject targeting traditinal Chinese instrumental music was started by the Chinese Natinal Academy f Arts and Tencent Interactive Entertainment, a leading internet entertainment cmpany in China. The prject was intended t revive (复兴) traditinal music by using digital technlgy t restre and preserve riginal music surces. Based n these surces, digital albums, scial media mini-prgrams and game backgrund music can be created. These are all ways f transmitting and prmting preserved music t future generatins.
The first traditinal instrument t get this kind f “rebirth” was an ancient set f chime bells riginally wned by Marquis Yi f the Zeng State (曾侯乙编钟).
