一、教学目标
1. 掌握本模块的重点单词和短语:far, close, far from, by taxi, take a bus…等。
2. 掌握并运用下列句型:
It’s the most comfortable way, but it’s also the most expensive.
He lives the farthest from school.
It is the fastest and the second cheapest.
The more information, the better.
3. 能够掌握形容词和副词最高级的规则和不规则变化形式以及常用句型结构的用法。
4. 能够运用形容词和副词的最高级形式谈论和比较旅行方式和交通工具。
5. 能够对词汇进行分类和归纳,并能运用规律举一反三。
6. 通过了解有关旅游和交通等方面的信息,并与学生的日常生活联系起来,有利于激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

Step 2 Presentation
1. T reads through the sentences in the language practice with the whole class, then asks Ss to repeat the sentences. Remind them to pay attention to the colored words.
2. Get Ss to work in groups, observe the sentences carefully and try to get the formation rules and use of superlatives.
3. T summarizes and consolidates the formation rules and use of superlatives.
Grammar points
语法小知识——形容词和副词的最高级
1. 概念:英语中三者或三者以上的事物相比较,表示“最……”时,要用“the + 最高级”的结构表示。
2. 最高级的规则变化与不规则变化。
3. 最高级的常用句型结构。
【设计意图】以本单元的句子为引子,先让学生自己总结、归纳语法规则,然后教师归纳形容词和副词最高级形式的构成规则和用法,帮助学生理清知识脉络。
