Activity 7
1. Look and say
T shows a picture of Tim Berners-Lee and talks about it with Ss.
2. Fast Reading
Who is Tim Berners-Lee?
3. Ask Ss to read the passage and choose the best title.
4. Check the answer as a class.
5. Tell Ss to cover the passage and working with a partner, try to complete the chart from memory.
6. Allow Ss to read the passage again to check their answers.
7. Check answers as a class.

Step III Production
Activity 8
1. Put Ss in groups of three or four. Tell them that each student should think of one invention that has changed their life.
2. Ask Ss to tell their groups about the inventions. Make sure that each student is going to think about a different invention.
3. T analyses the topic of this module and the writing ideas.
设计意图:通过“谈论科技发明”的写作思路讲解,帮助学生掌握相关话题的写作技巧。
Activity 9
1. Working with their group, each student tells their group mates about the research into their invention. Group mates give ideas for information that can be added, changed and so on.
2. Ss take notes on their group mates’ suggestions, then prepare to add them to their information.
Activity 10
Groups prepare to present their findings to the class.
设计意图:通过小组合作完成本节课写作任务,互相提出建议,补充个人观点,完成从输入到输出。
